A few comments. I noticed Mr Tourshaw brushed aside Freedom of speech during his argument. We young'uns that did not experience d clamp on opinions during d military regime usually do that. Mr Tourshaw's examples (Syria, North Korea, Saudi Arabia) are not countries I believe most Nigerians would want to model their country after. Sadly our two debaters wanted pornographic contents not just age restricted but removed completely. I feel one's religious beliefs have no place in an objective debate. Mustybura d medical student, I'm embarrassed one of my ilk failed to give solid points instead preferring to use high faluting words. A word of advice, avoid that in your Pro's I must drop my pen now. I met this thread with anticipation. I leave disappointed |
