nzeobi: He left a peaceful nation, that was being bleed from all sides by thieves, I country where they wanted to make corruption official- a place where they were stealing in broad day light- What else do some people understand apart from force, (violent people) people that use bomb and guns should be talked with? People bandits (less than 0.5%) that spend billions outside nigeria on women, and threaten the remaining 99.5% because pipeline pass through creeks? Nigeria would be great again- whether they like it or not* we would be great again |

Instead of oil being a blessing to Nigeria, it's now a curse and a source of lamentation. Let pipelines bombing and oil price fall continue, nobody we advise us before we retrace our steps back into practising true federalism. If God really wants to help and lift Nigeria up, He should cause the oil to dry off! |

These guys should cool down and discuss with the president..because acts like this is what might disrupt the plan of the brass lng..development would be kept far away from brass...agip has done actually enough to beautify that town with little or no contribution from the brass local government. ...The question now is how do we ensure more of educated persons are at the fore front in deciding what the Niger delta needs in all oil producing communities. .how do we ensure that violent thugs and miscreants who seek for paltry pay do not disrupt ongoing and future development in brass and other parts of the Niger delta.. Also our lands and waters are getting seriously polluted...fishing and farming is one way we can distinctively generate revenue to push bayelsa to the standard of dubai.. I am tired.. TonyeBarcanista. ... Deapreye.... |
Re: Explosion Hits Agip Pipeline In Bayelsa by Izontubo(m): 7:00am On Jan 31, 2016 |
awoluyi:I agree with your points to an extent..true federalism will surely help us to manage our own miscreants and bring then to book because it's going to be our own cup of tea..For now tribalism won't let anything succeed in nigeria..The militants now feel that buhari is all out to suffocate the Niger delta reason for all of these explosions. ..The moment true federalism is practiced the governors of each state can deal with their own and complains of bias would never be heard.....but as it is nigeria would continue like this... |

Izontubo:. I am responding to your view because it sounds very intelligent. Should we continue to base our survival as a nation on oil while thinking leaders of developed countries are focusing efforts on alterative source of energy? Recently I read about a breakthrough in chemical engineering that will lead to production of energy from sand. To me it appears we are bewitched and confused. Until we are blessed with innovational leaders, we shall be strangers to both physical and mental development. |

I pity this disjointed set of a country. How come when we speak, we always speak as part of a tribe and not as one people? It is more pitiful that even as a tribe, we still see ourselves as separate entity. Here we are having tribal war on this platform for every issue raised instead of tackling issues at hand as one people. Dear Nigerian brothers/sisters from the four cardinal axes, please we should all peacefully agree to go our separate ways if we can never see ourselves as one. Looking at this country only prove the fact that a bad marriage can only lead to violence. Saying no to separation under these awful conditions will only make you look like a greedy husband/wife who only hangs on because of certain benefits. There is no hope in this marriage Nigeria beside constant bloodshed, violence and aggrieved parties with such mindset of individuals!!!! |

Toktee:Your Islamic murderers are not criminal, they are fighting for your god. You call people Lazy without looking at yourself and your people. You have no issue based comments to make than to keep abusing people and calling people fools as if you are acting wisely. Anytime comments are made that are at variance or opposing your comment the next thing you do is to abuse because that is what you have in your brain. You can only bring out what you have. Keep on abusing it is your way of life |

What degree of laziness exist in your region compared to the south. If the insult was not directed to me,fine. One thing is sure both Boko Haram and Niger Delta Militants are criminals. So you don't show sectionalism by condemning one and refuse to condemn Boko Haram in the same way. Tribalism is exhibited by those who suffer from complex |
