Luckylife:Its Ok.... I am not arguing here but since U believe I have a myopic understanding of GEJ's good policies and development which Nigerians are enjoying today.... No problem. When PMB lost.... So many lives were lost, that's very true and when GEJ lost... A lot of lives were saved ...infact no single life was lost. Well, my view is.... Jonathan can't be there forever and he didn't do well but I am not saying PMB will be the saviour but the fact is someone has to be there when GEJ left. Since u have been able to point out that GEJ's administration was the best ever..... I concede to the defeat sir.... Case closed! |

hush15:o boy just get lost with such absurdity and let people with sense see road.you're just a wishy washy dumbo ignoramous. What nonsense acceptance are you talking about.didn't we vote.we voted him in and we also voted him out I see not fucking reason why he should not accept.didn't that same Buharis you senselessly mention accepted defeat in 2011. What God fearing are you even talking about.he has the fear of God and there so many attrocities commited during his adminitrstion under his watch and you're there germing nonsense.as far as I I'm concerned I see no big deal in what he did.that's the right thing for any reasonable person to do.he's not the first president and he'll never be the last.either he accepted in 'good fate' or he accepted in BAD or FAKE fate o.he's gone and gone for good.I say bye bye to him long ago and I'm still saying it.bye bye ooo. Good ridance to bad rubish.shikena |

Sir, you did not mention that you lost in an election termed credible. Can't you just admit that simple fact? |

one thing that suprises me in this wicked world was, imagine someone lost election openly and he will be deciding at his own disposal weather to give power or not. bloodshed is better that then lootings you & ur carbinets did. during rainy season no reaservation and dry season nothing left. GOD must jurge you honestly. ![]() |

sameer1212:GEJ is not weak to lead Nigeria!!! It takes a strong man to relinquish power like GEJ did. It is your baba who caused some innocent Nigerians to lose their lives during the 2011 post election violence that is WEAK! God bless GEJ! My hero and my role model!! God punish b00har1! The villain of our time!!! |

onatisi:I understand ur plight very well but i av a reservation. That, in GEJ's statement, you will in-deptly understand dat he relinquished the power reluctantly (out of tight choice) and not willingly because of the atrocities that he and his beneficiaries have committed directly or indirectly. My point is; if threat like the one you just posted now and others like dat never pre-empt his decision, I swear to almighty God, he wouldnt have done what he did peacefully (which now turns to glory for him today and led to the peace we r enjoying today as well). My candid opinion is dat the sufferings we r facing (most esp. youths) dis day is the result from what i can tag 'Over-Resilience'. What requires peace goes in peace and the peace that requires violence can only surface after the violence. God help Nigeria! |

JoyPaulLaw:I didn't judge him on that but can authoritatively said he never accepted defeat when he went to court for about three or four occasions he lost elections. I would like to see a situation whereby when people lost election to accept defeat |

Pavarottii:... Don't mind these BUHARI's apologists. Pictures of underage voters reminds me of how the Northern agenda won't make Nigeria grow and also stated by the Lecturer in police custody for saying the truth. Which way for this country sef? BUHARI's apologists # makeunaheaddeyunaneck |

Only in Africa. Only in Africa will you celebrate yourself for conceeding in an election you woefully lost. Well, thanks for doing that. We pray that Africa will rise above these shades. About time. Events of the recent have also shown that our former president was probably not in charge of anything. He practiced management by abdication. In that sense, we appreciate him for at least taking charge after the election and not allowing the hawks to speak before him and to turn the land into chaos. Nigeria must learn from this. vote only credible and proven people. We are not there yet, obviously. |

Boyooosa:It is the decisions we make and choices we make in life that determines where and how our names will be written in the heart of men. We once had a leader that said this if the whole Nigerian nations remains only 1000 people,he Abacha will still continue to rule. What makes gej stands out is not the fact that he conceded defeat but the fact that he even refused to contest the results at the law court which was an open legal option to him at that time. Secondly,he conceded defeat despite having all the power to upturn the elections, there was more than enough grounds for him to do so and if not for ibb, abdulsalami and other national political figures that kept in touch with him throughout the period and advising him to shun the advice of key pdp members that wanted him to contest the results. But the final decision rested on the man with the final say. Buhari and his fanatical cows had sharpened their matchets ,daggers and were just waiting for gej to say he was going to contest the results in court before they start massacring ppl in the north. Lets give kudos to the man that willingly relinquished his own political interests in the best interests of peace and the nation |

That divide between north and south, Christian and Muslim is still on in the south south which is why PDP remains relevant. |
