the facts you don't no any good policies, developments or you don't what to accept the truth is not any bodies fault but what I will teach u to understand is that the fact u are busy typing ur myopic understanding was made possible by the actions our former president gej took not to contest the rigging that took place in the north in favour of pmb. That alone saves lives including yours. So on ur own text call a spade a spade. When pmb lost innocent lives were lost but when gej lost lives were saved.
Its Ok.... I am not arguing here but since U believe I have a myopic understanding of GEJ's good policies and development which Nigerians are enjoying today.... No problem.
When PMB lost.... So many lives were lost, that's very true and when GEJ lost... A lot of lives were saved ...infact no single life was lost.

Well, my view is.... Jonathan can't be there forever and he didn't do well but I am not saying PMB will be the saviour but the fact is someone has to be there when GEJ left.

Since u have been able to point out that GEJ's administration was the best ever..... I concede to the defeat sir....

Case closed!

Abeg receive sense, who has done it better him yet in this country?

The juveniles used to edge him out of presidency is the right thing abi or the radio changi that was used to promote violence in the north, the very same violence that the charging IPOB for which IPOB is yet to commit or is it the hatred speech of the APC when they say they will run a parrlel government or baboon and monkeys will soak in blood that makes sense to you.

Neither Obasanjo, nor Buhari nor tinubu nor amechi nor any APC members would take defeat in good faith like he did with all the hate and divisive statements made by them.

So yes, it's worth celebrating and Nigerians are thankful to God for leaders like him that put Nigeria and Nigerians after God first in their actions. Even Buhari can't take that shine from him.

So go siddon and sharrup if you don't know how to appreciate a good deed.
o boy just get lost with such absurdity and let people with sense see road.you're just a wishy washy dumbo ignoramous. this isn't an issue of being APC or PDP and u are totally getting it wrong. There are times silence can be golden while in a time like this it isn't. Let him say something about it. We have heard so many things from the media. We want to hear directly from him.

You right. He did the right thing and we need to celebrate the right things as this. Celebrating it breeds the right culture in our society and our nation as a whole. It encourages more examples as this where leader see the bigger picture and act responsibly. In a nation and continent at large where power is relinquished without a fight, I know it's right to acknowledge this good thing and celebrate it so God can bless us with more.
I totally agree.Just that im not comfy with the way he goes about it as if he was cheated out.

Basically, GEJ is saying that even if he had reservations about the elections, he knew that if he had contested the results, the North and some of their SW allies would have visited mayhem on the country. He was literaly 'bullied' out of his constitutional right to contest the outcome of the election. GEJ saved a lot of lives by conceding defeat. Unfortunately, if he had to do this to save lives, APC is not likely to be a Government that will effect any meaningful change
You are really a wise and analytical thinker! Continue making good use of your gift dear, you are gifted.

Obasanjo practically handed over to Jonathan. Yaradua barely did 2 years. So the North has been out of power for more than 16 years. It is very important to think at a high level and stop being childish.
this means dat the East are not wrong in their agitation

Thank god for gej,if it was the dullard ,he would have allowed ppl to be slaughtered ,even when he contested and lost he incited ppl to kill their fellow country men.
I understand ur plight very well but i av a reservation. That, in GEJ's statement, you will in-deptly understand dat he relinquished the power reluctantly (out of tight choice) and not willingly because of the atrocities that he and his beneficiaries have committed directly or indirectly. My point is; if threat like the one you just posted now and others like dat never pre-empt his decision, I swear to almighty God, he wouldnt have done what he did peacefully (which now turns to glory for him today and led to the peace we r enjoying today as well).
My candid opinion is dat the sufferings we r facing (most esp. youths) dis day is the result from what i can tag 'Over-Resilience'. What requires peace goes in peace and the peace that requires violence can only surface after the violence. God help Nigeria!

Nice question... But you NEVER can judge a HIM now until he faces similar situation.
I didn't judge him on that but can authoritatively said he never accepted defeat when he went to court for about three or four occasions he lost elections.
I would like to see a situation whereby when people lost election to accept defeat

Well I understand that u r kid, and u won't know wat really transpired in the mind of GEJ. Am not sure u would av been here typing this thing. U seriously don't even know wen War is knocking on the door. So u think GEJ was actually defeated? With 1.9million votes in Kano with NO VOID votes and underage voters that was all over the. Cyber space; am not sure u saw our airports that day right. They were filled to d brim; am not sure u know of weapons been transported to the north; am not sure u wondered why all the northerners were leaving the southern part of Nigeria to their town. U think is too vote; my friend Wen u sit down with elders; they will school you more about the theatre of War GEJ boycotted intentionally.

Be careful wat u wish for. Cos u won't know until it happens; it's either u appreciate him or keep quiet rather than coming here to type wat u just did.
Thank you.
... Don't mind these BUHARI's apologists. Pictures of underage voters reminds me of how the Northern agenda won't make Nigeria grow and also stated by the Lecturer in police custody for saying the truth. Which way for this country sef? BUHARI's apologists # makeunaheaddeyunaneck

Only in Africa.

Only in Africa will you celebrate yourself for conceeding in an election you woefully lost.

Well, thanks for doing that. We pray that Africa will rise above these shades. About time.

Events of the recent have also shown that our former president was probably not in charge of anything. He practiced management by abdication.

In that sense, we appreciate him for at least taking charge after the election and not allowing the hawks to speak before him and to turn the land into chaos.

Nigeria must learn from this. vote only credible and proven people. We are not there yet, obviously.

It is the decisions we make and choices we make in life that determines where and how our names will be written in the heart of men. We once had a leader that said this if the whole Nigerian nations remains only 1000 people,he Abacha will still continue to rule.
What makes gej stands out is not the fact that he conceded defeat but the fact that he even refused to contest the results at the law court which was an open legal option to him at that time. Secondly,he conceded defeat despite having all the power to upturn the elections, there was more than enough grounds for him to do so and if not for ibb, abdulsalami and other national political figures that kept in touch with him throughout the period and advising him to shun the advice of key pdp members that wanted him to contest the results. But the final decision rested on the man with the final say. Buhari and his fanatical cows had sharpened their matchets ,daggers and were just waiting for gej to say he was going to contest the results in court before they start massacring ppl in the north. Lets give kudos to the man that willingly relinquished his own political interests in the best interests of peace and the nation
Re: Real Reasons I Conceded To Buhari —jonathan by otokx(m): 12:59pm On Jan 31, 2016
That divide between north and south, Christian and Muslim is still on in the south south which is why PDP remains relevant.
