The way students are penning down medicine as a course of study in this recent years is quite alarming.Recently JAMB just released number of aspirants in dat department in my school of interest and d number is engrossingly overwhelming. My question is dis,y d traffic in medicine wen other courses in d science lane can substitute squarely for it.??One of my friends said prestige I laughed it off and asked him if pharmacists, engineers ,biochemists et al doesn't have prestige,he was silent for a moment only to respond with their having more job opportunities preferentially to their choice of practice. I also told him dat I know of a prominent musician Dr Sid ,a medical doctor who is now a musician. So pls nairalanders is dere something I need to know about dis hypeness??

sometimes dey end up not getting jobs too...even wen dey do d pay will not b as sizeable as dere counterparts like engineers and co...so y d traffic??I tink it's all about unawareness
