JAMB Extends Closing Date To Febraury 5th by iykekelvins(m): 2:58pm On Feb 01, 2016

The closing date for the registration of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as announced by JAMB, has been extended till 5th February.

We therefore wish to advise all prospective Nairalanders who are yet to purchase their 2016 UTME forms to do so on or before February 5th, 2016.

This also extends to candidates who are still waiting for supplementary or additional list of their choice schools for the 2015/2016 admission year to be released.

It is always a bad idea to have all your eggs in one basket. There is no 100% guarantee that your name will appear on the list even if the school eventually releases it.

To be on a safe side, get the JAMB form before it expires. That way, even if you miss the 2015/2016 admission, you will still stand a chance in the 2016/2017 session.

Also remember the examination is expected to commence February 29th 2016 (all things being equal). You can make the most of the remaining time by using our JAMB CBT tools and materials as well as keep your self updated with any recent information as it concerns 2016 UTME via this link: JAMB 2016 Information Centre - All tools you need!

even if you like extend it to december, schools have the number of students they will admit.
Personally I think the extension is just to see how much more can be made to supplement crashed oil revenue.
don't forget that almost all FG institutions have increased their fees by about 80%

I cant continue like this anymore, all my class mates for secondary school don get Masters degree and one sef now na Lecturer and I still dey here dey price JAMB scratch card..

Anyways, Pastor said this year is my Year of Unusual Miracle and I believe it.

i does not even know which unifasity i should apply to to study english,i loves english so much that i will likes to go to the best unifasity in Nigeria so as to always speak good english and correction all this small small childrens that always comes here to writes bad english. Honestly i doesnt know how the murderator and the owner of nairaland is copings with them,i doesnt mind them employment me here to always helps them to prove read their thread before posting them. Pls advices me which hire institution i should goes to study english in the unifasity

After all this, candidates will still have to buy #1500
e-voucher to check their result.

JAMB should be scrapped.

Pls i need your advice, NLs, i am a ND holder (Comp Science) i graduated last year, and i am thinking of purchasing the JAMB form because i want to pursue a degree in an Agric related course, but my Dad sees it as a waste of time after spending two years he thinks that going for HND or DE is a better option, but the course i read and the course i want to finish off with are not related. I am currently on my one year compulsory IT, and JAMB just extended their registration, what do you think i should do?

Plus remember i am getting old.

seriously this jamb people just want to make money,,,y won't there be examination malpractice? keep on postponing ,seriously Dibu needs to be sacked he is a theif ,with this I just confirmed it....I hope one day Nigeria will change ,,I sorry for Nigeria and the thing is that its we the youth that's been affected most...I sorry for Nigeria.
