I realise that the contention of one of the senatorial seats in Anambra is between Andy Uba and Chris Uba. The surprising thing is that media keep addressing them as brothers. My question is are they actually related? I mean are they same mother same father?

Yes they are, the same father and mother, Chris is the immediate junior brother to Andy.

that animosity between the two of them is 'political animosity'. both of them never agreed politically but that does not mean if u fight the other the other will watch u hurt his brother.
