My message is not about who discovered the river Niger, it is about changing our indoctrination from the colonialist. Re write our education curricula and stop feeling inferior to the british. Ask your self the truth did mungo park really discovered the river niger like he was the first person there. They have to say the first english man to discover river niger is mungo park and not. i don't understand what you mean by public bro, discover simply means the first of a kind to notice a different Phenomenom or existence of a matter. and since mungo park is a human being, he was not the first bro. he may be the first European or first white man, but certainly not the first person.i urge our education to change it from their curricula and many other anomalous teaching by the British.
