President Muhammadu Buhari who stormed Ogun State yesterday in commemoration of the state’s 40th anniversary celebration -donned this attire for an event in the heart of the town today. The president was cheered by a crowd of citizens who gathered to catch a glimpse of him.

But isn't it ironic that all the things Jonathan was lambasted for, are totally acceptable under Buhari all of a sudden? Come to think of it, I'm not even sure Jonathan's case was this bad.

Jonathan was initially blasted for "not showing enough empathy" during bomb blasts, particularly a case that happened on the same day he was at a campaign rally ground, right? Fine, that's bad. Agreed.
But how do you sleep well at night when you attack Jonathan for all that but say absolutely nothing in Buhari's case where Over 100 citizens are burnt to ashes in a town just 10km for Maiduguri (the same city the Abuja control post was moved to) while the president was away; and when he comes back, he makes NO VISIT to the site of the attack to atleast console the people, releases NO STATEMENT even acknowledging their demise, and simply travels to Ogun state to PARTY and shake hands with political allies before jetting off to France? Is that the new "Empathy"?
