greatiyk4u: UNN is naturally ahead of you.................UNN has disadvantage of geographical location, hence, poor publicity Yea you're right. UNN's location is disadvantaged, hence it receives less attention than usual but its location away from the city and all its attendant attractions ensures that students are focused on their academics. |

henrykelek: UNN remains the most academically efficient and brilliant university in Nigeria,
checkout her alumni all round the world. One time, Afam4eva published a thread regarding the outstanding and intimidating number of great UNN alumni on this forum, a list which was originally on Wikipedia. Few days later, I visited Wikipedia to find out that someone had allegedly edited the list and reduced more than half of the names on the list to make it 'less intimidating'. With the free or easy access just anyone has to Wikipedia, some tribal miscreant, inundated at the achievement of UNN, went to the page on Wikipedia to reduce the list considerably. Here is his thread: https://www.nairaland.com/1005321/university-nigeria-most-recognized-alumniAfam4eva's post only captured some of the original list but not all I think. As a user of Wiki, it is possible to restore to previous versions of a page on Wikipedia. |

i don't usually waste my time arguing with the haters. They always want to pull UNN down comparing it wirh universities that celebrate mediocrity.. Our Alumni remains the most brilliant.. Emenalam... minister of trade.. UNN medical student ... a baker scholar at Harvard business school Arunma Oteh ...Computer science graduate 1987... Harvard MBA Kachiukwu... law from UNEC ..MSC and PhD in Harvard.. E.A Adeboye. My dept guys are in london business school.. lecturers in the UK Abeg forget Nigeria culture of mediocrity... UNN is one of the greatest schools in Africa.. as a matter of fact 14th.. we are not taught to make noise on social media. But to restore the dignity of man. 3 Likes |
