It is an inconvenient truth.

How many of us have bribed a police officer or LASTMA or a government employee?
Or paid agents to help us with a driver's license or vehicle plates?
How many have bribed NEPA officers when they come to disconnect power?
Or short change them when we can?
How many of us have driven for years with no driver's license?
Or driven illegally on BRT lanes or one-way routes?
How many of us have paid bribes to hasten our passport applications?
or collected inducements to do our jobs?
How many private schools bribe invigilators to let their students cheat?
Or engage directly in helping their students cheat?
How many of us have thrown trash through the window?
or paid truck pushers to dispose trash anywhere?
How many student pay to get special centers in WAEC and JAMB?
Or hide 'chips' to cheat the system?
How many professors take bribes to pass students?
or accepted from students willing to offer?

The level of criminality in the society is so high that very few are not affected by the stench. And YES, Many of us have engaged in criminal activities which we have normalized. In saner climes, you can be jailed for each of the above.

Let's take a look at the mirror and reform our society from the rot.
