It was wrong for the school to release the child without calling the attention of the child's mother, even with the court paper. If the man is still in Nieria, i suggest you go to french embassy to report. He cannot not travel with an underage child without mother's consent, so ask immigration, that is if they did not take bribe from oyibo for easy passage.

If this is in France, she will be branded a kidnapper. Anyways, she needs to travel to France to fight for custody and file a missing person report. By the look of his surname, he maybe Lebanese. He may have gone to Lebanon. She needs to go to the social media and amnesty international for help. This should be a lesson for these Nigerian girls that go for these foreign idiots who migrates to Nigeria and treats them like shit.

Her marrying a foreigner is not an excuse for kidnap. Are you saying you have not heard of Naija men abducting their partner/girlfriend's children? Abi should she marry yam? Pls take your silly prejudices out of here. A Nigerian woman will marry from whatever country she pleases. What should be noted is that a good man is good no matter his nationality. Same with a bad man.

How can a woman displays the picture of her child in a situation like this. This really shows the type of woman she is. This can have negative effect on the child. With this single attitude, a woman can lose custody of her kid in other clime. Really this woman must be troublesome. Even in the advanced countries, father a times do have full custody of their children when the court in their opinion believe the woman can not raise the kid. Let her stop crying wolf and go back to court to trash it out.

There are two side to every story but if what this has said here is true than it's a shame our judiciary system that gave full custody of a minor to the father.na was ooh! Only in naija.
Hang in there, you'll surely get you child back.report to all the relevant authorities.
All the best.

This is what happens when u want to marry oyibo man by force. I pray help comes her way n be reunited with her son
this is a clear case, Ma! Is not about marrying foreign spouses. I have Nigerian friends with similar cases too. My cousin also married a Benin lady who has since 2013 disappeared with three kids. If you knew what it means to lose full custody of a child you wouldn't make that racial comment. Millions of single Nigerian sisters pray for husbands everyday, and how many Nigerian men are getting married? If she found one anywhere, don't judge her. And, as a woman, if truly you are, your sympathy should have been easily decipherable in your comment.

With all due respect, hope you've been sending money for your son's upkeep & you've kept in touch by talking with him on the phone at least once in a while? It wouldn't be nice or fair to him or his mum to just show up, outta the blue, "when you are ready" and demand to be a part of his life or even kidnap him.
yes bro.
Thanks for your concern

In Nigeria the children belong to their father, whether we accept it or not. As long as the French man is on Nigerian soil that law applies.

My advice to women is not to be caught unaware, as soon as there is irreconcilable difference between you and your spouse/partner, run with your children and don't look back. She shouldn't have let him know where she lives or where the boy schools.

If the boy is French national...take the issue to the French authority. In France the woman would have been given full custody and the father granted visitation.

My dear, read through her submission before you comment. She mentioned that the school called the mother and insisted the mother was given the court order. She did not mention that the school handed the boy over.
