But seriously do we have capacity for 23,000 in our prisons? Other sectors of the economy need urgent attention but I can't see this happening soon.

I didn't rate this Adeosun that much,considering her not too stellar antecedents and d corruption allegations that trailed her stint in Ogun state.
But after reading this,especially how she with the ipps head brilliantly found a way to capture civil servants via the BVN and her proper grasp of other issues,i am beginning to feel she may have been grossly underrated.

Adeosun said, “The IPPIS programme, funded by World Bank, started about five years ago and what it required was for every officer to come physically for biometric data capture. Over the five years, unfortunately, we have only been able to capture about 295,000 federal civil servants, which represent less than 20 per cent of the total personnel on the federal par roll.

Then, stop paying them -- no IPPIS-BVN, no payment!

Sentiment apart, any sincere human being should attest to the fact that voting PDP out was the best thing to happen to Nigeria in the recent past. APC or Buhari may not be giving us exactly the best but the truth is that they are setting a good precedent that if consolidated on by subsequent governments, will once again place Nigeria on the pedestal of greatness.

The Civil Servant in question will be out of the country sooner than you think, except he/she is on a watch list and is not allowed to leave the shores of Nigeria before prosecution begins...!

Imagine a cleaner collecting 350k and one man collecting 20 man salary posing with flashy car their children going to expensive schools and feeling big in the society, this is 20 vacancies for 20 men and yet the same ministry will tell you that there is no vacancy. Let him or her serve 20 men jail term

If someone is to be prosecuted then his/her name will be expose by way of media reports of the court case.

Maybe you didn't read well, they have announced what they have done and announced that they will do more. Also, they needed to advertise it so that you know that the government is doing something

All this noise making cannot help us. Let them publish their names so Nigerians can know their source of illegal wealth thereafter prosecute them. I don't believe on all this playing to the gallery of the govt it cannot take us anywhere let us see action.

Greater feature was achieved with this BVN and other means in 2014 and 2015. Lazy Olodos read fully and research well before ranting

Millions of Nigerians can't gain job employment because many criminals in the Civil service are receiving worthless salaries and stealing government money.
