Nigerian social media has been recently abuzz with the story of Olajumoke Orisaguna, the agege bread seller, whose chance encounter with renowned photographer, TY Bello during a photo shoot suddenly altered the course of her life. That meeting landed her on the cover of Thisdaystyle.

Jumoke has been featured in Huffington Post and will also be featured on CNN as they have been documenting the process of her photo shoot with Nigerian designer April by Kunbi. So what happens when an Agege bread seller meets a renowned photographer? Life happens...the Rhythm changes and Destiny calls.

We all probably at some point in our lives have met people who drastically altered the course of our lives. It may have been for good or bad, whichever way, you are still here. One simple chance encounter can open a new chapter in your life. So never ever give up.

Jumoke was simply doing her own thing and a new chapter opened in her story. In the midst of all this, I wonder what is truly going on in this young woman's head. I wonder if she even knows what she wants. I wonder where all of this is leading her to. I wonder if she has wise counsellors around her. I wonder if anyone has asked her what she really wants and not what everyone expects her to be.

In the midst of all of this buzz, let us remember that she is a wife and mother, whose primary duty is to her family. Let us remember that chance encounters sometimes make or mar us. Let us help Jumoke keep up with the tempo of the moment. Let us help her find Purpose and true meaning in this season of her life.
