you can also convert your HND to Bsc by obtaining admission into Achievers University, Owo. The programme is called Bridge programme. I have a friend that just graduated after Six semesters if two (2) years.

There are few ways you can use to Upgrade the certificate issue by polytechnic in Nigeria to BSC.
The method will be discuss briefly below.


National Diploma: upgrading your national diploma result is not too difficult in the present condition of Nigeria Educational. System.
You can Apply For Direct entry into 200 level.
Although most school demand for upper credit as criteria for direct entry Admission.


HND : you may upgrde your ND result to HND and after your HND you can gain Admission to 300 level in any Nigeria university if you graduated with upper credit while candidates that graduated with lower credit will be consider into 200 level.

HND conversion: Another platform you can use to convert your HND to BSC is by obtaining HND conversion programme in some Nigeria universities.
Conversion programme always take upto 3 or 4 Academic session.


Take ICAN : holders of Ican ATS 3 certificate can also apply for direct entry into 200 level.
Candidate with national diploma with a lower grade or pass can enrol for ICAN ATS exam.


PGD : lastly all Hnd certificate holder can run a post graduate diploma programme to upgrade their certificate in the labour market.

FYI, before this Crude oil crash, half of the class of ICE students of PTI Effurun, all had BSc and were trying to downgraded to HND to enter the oil industry. Half of shell SITP, mobil and TEPNG trainees hid their BSc to enter. Hope u don't think they were all stupid.

By KP, do you mean Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja. I graduated from there with Upper credit and did Direct Entry to a Uni. Done with B.Sc now. Keep trying bro, your time will come.

That's cos they were dumbos. Why will a mechanical engineer run to attend training for a mechanic so he can do a mechanic's job? (I'm speaking figuratively here). It's desperation and lack of job that causes that not because a HND is superior. (And I'm not insinuating that Bachelor's is superior either)

You can do upgrade to Bsc in one year from UK Universities via distance learning if you have money. If you don't have too much money, you can look to India instead and do distance learning with accredited schools with sometimes school fees not more than 200k for a one year HND to Bsc programme. You can check www.peicentre.com for more details or look up the schools for yourself in India. You should however ensure they are accredited by AICTE, DEC and UGC India
