To the best of my knowledge, Tompolo and his Ijaw people did not steal any Itsekiri land. Is Itsekiri land in Okerenkoko or the whole of Gbaramatu? I know the Ijaws and Itsekiris are geographically close seaside so issues like this are bound to come up... I only know of the Ogidigben EPZ land controversy and i guess that has been settled.

I disagree o. Nothing involves the so-called IPOD here so i see no reason why u should bring them in. Warri cannot be someone's ethnic identity but it's rather a geographical entity. If you say u're from Warri(metropolitan), u're either Urhobo, Ijaw or Itsekiri. Festus Keyamo is an Urhobo man from Agbarha kingdom, Warri. His job in the EFCC is on a personal capacity and does not in anyway represent the interest of the Agbarha people or the entire Urhobo nation. Thank you.

Does it make sense that the peaceful Ijaws and the Urhobos has Keyamo (Urhobo) acting as the EFCC counsel? The Itsekiris dragged the ownership of Sapele then to court and after judgement in favour of the Urhobos the Itsekiris never laid a claim. The courts may not always give an unbias Judgements. See, nobody is a saint. Lemme take u down memory lane... What if the Supreme court gave a bias Judgment against Okumagba of Okere and his people in 1975? Do you think the Okere-Urhobos would rest? Mind you, the Itsekiris still tried to oppose the Okere-Urhobos when they demanded that their traditional ruler, Orosuen be recognised by the state govt. during Ibori's governorship(thank God it did'nt work). I have not also forgotten how the Itsekiris transferred aggression on the people of Okere-Urhobo attacking them during the Warri crisis after some Itsekiri communities were attacked by the Ijaws. Yes, the Ijaws and Urhobos too have fought but those issues have been resolved, we're still here and we know our boundaries. Let me quickly address the issue someone posted a while ago, the word Okere is from what language? Itsekiris or Urhobos? I dont know or cannot comprehend what you mean by unbiased judgement pertaining the Itsekiris - Ijaws statement I made earlier, because, the absolute court slogan is "Prove your case beyond reasonable doubt." Any party who lost his case did not prove his case as such. Also court judgement is taken as final even after several hearings, sittings and all kind of adjournments. Why didnt the Itsekiris say the court judgement concerning Sapele is bias? Sir, I want us to treat every tribe irrespective of our Zones with clear - spirit and open - mind. To you the Itsekiris transferred grudges to the Urhobos, to the Itsekiris you guys (Urhobos) aided the Ijaws in ransacking their abode. Who are we to believe?
