Got this useful tips from a blog and decide to post on here for everyone to read and make use of. These few health tips had really being of tremendous help to me for a while now and think its high time I shared it with you all. Number 14, my best so far! Read and see for yourselves: 1- Mosquito bite? Press a *hot* spoon onto the spot. The heat will destroy the protein that caused the reaction and the itching will stop. 2- If sugar is applied on a cut, it will help in the healing process and will also stop the blood flow. 3- Eating bananas, pasta, almonds, grapes, oatmeal, chocolate, watermelon, orange juice, cornflakes, and tuna can help relieve stress. 4- Ever have that annoying itch in your throat that makes you want to gag and cough to get it out? Scratch your ear it will go away! 5- Flex any muscle for 60 seconds to get rid of an unwanted erection. 6- Surrounding yourself with positive people increases your life expectancy. 7- Listening to music for at least 10 mins each day strengthens your mind's ability to handle stress. 8- If you still feel tired after a good night's sleep, you're probably dehydrated. Drink some water after you wake up. 9- Faking a smile has the ability to actually increase and boost your mood. 10- Taking a 60 minute nap will give you about 10 hours of alertness. 11- When doing sit-ups if you place your tongue on the roof of your mouth it will stop you from straining your neck. 12- Remove unpleasant odor in smelly shoes or gymbags by placing dry tea bags in them. 13- Cold showers are much better for your hair and skin. 14- Every day, make an effort to talk to at least three members of the opposite sex. You'll be shocked at how much more confident you'll become. 15- Stretch for 5 minutes before going to bed. Your muscles will be more relaxed and it'll be easier to find a comfortable position to sleep in. 16- A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything. 17- Study your notes within one day of taking them. Retention rates are 60% higher then! 18- Starting to smile at an inappropriate time? Rub the underside of your nose with a finger—it'll kill the smile. 19- If you're having trouble falling asleep, count backwards from 99. Most times you'll fall asleep before even getting to 50. 20- If you do something embarrassing in public, immediately laugh at yourself. It's the best way to diffuse the awkwardness. 21- When approaching a door, look for the hinges. If you see them, pull. If not, push. This will help you avoid some embarrassing moments! 22- To maintain a healthy brain, Chocolate, sex and laughter are all very important factors. 23- To get night vision, keep one eye closed in the well lit area and then open it in darkness; that eye will be able to see in the dark. 24- Your phone emits a radiation that’s 1,000 times stronger when the battery is low. Try to avoid answering it when this is the case. 25- If you toss onions in the freezer 15 minutes before you cut them you won’t tear up. 26- If you need to remember to bring something to work/school the next day, put it in your shoe. 27- Feeling sleepy? Hold your breath until you cant anymore and then breathe out slowly. This will increase your heart rate. 28- When trying to look for percentages (ex 40% of 300) drop the 1st digit of the number and multiply by the 10s digit of the % (4 x 30 = 120) 29- There is a free website called "essaytyper" that lets you type a topic and it will write the paper for you in minutes. 30- Have a stomach ache? Lay on your left side and rub your stomach in clockwise circles. It'll help! 31- If you're feeling nervous, start chewing gum, your brain will reason that you're not in danger because you would not be eating if you were. 32- If you accidentally over salt a dish while its still cooking, drop in a peeled potato it absorbs the excess salt for an instant fix me up. 33- Never use your favorite song as your alarm clock, you'll end up hating it. 34- If you ever drop glass, put a piece of bread on it. The consistency of the bread will pick up even the smallest shards. 35- Runny nose? Push your tongue against the top of your mouth and push a finger between your eyebrows. Hold it for about 20 seconds... gone! 36- If it takes less than five minutes to do, do it immediately. Your life will instantly become much more organized and productive. 37- Use Google as a dictionary by typing “define” followed with the word you want to understand. That's about all I copied.
