Political gurus in the house what's the constitunal difference between a local government caretaker chairman and an elected local government chairman? Because what we have most these days are caretaker local government chairman

before supreme court judgement according to apc wike was a caretaker governor but after the judgement, to them, he is still a caretaker governor till 2023 though...

a caretaker chairman is a political appointee, selected by the Governor, not necessarily with the approval of the state house of assembly. He cannot execute projects without approval from the state, while an elected chairman needs approval from councillors. In most casa caretaker chairmen /councillors are not supposed to last beyond six months after which if an election has not been held, they are replaced. They are usually figure heads and conduits for siphoning funds. They are the worst things to happen to Nigeria.
