A very popular maxim has it that, "every job comes with its relative challenges", but in the world of Customer Care Services, such " challenges" seem overdose.

To say I've had a handful of experiences in my nearly 1-year of being a CCR, would be stating the obvious!

People seem to have taken "customers must be treated as king", to mean they can vent their frustrations, and turn CCRs to their dungsite of uncivilized rants anytime anyday, forgetting they are emotional beings, and deserve some level of politeness!

It's hightime people changed their notion about the professionals waiting behind the desk to help troubleshoot their nagging problems!

The burn-out resulting from irate customers alone is enough to send one to his early grave. Your Supervisor, Quality Assesors & Managers are on ur neck to bring down AHT while customers are on the phone bombarding U wit insult despite ur intent to assist them.

The funny thing is dat they tend to yell & show aggression even when U've assured them dat u'll resolve their issue.

At the end of d day U feel depressed.

You can imagine a customer telling you, you are being paid to stomach insults! Who does that in a sane world?!

Same is the case in banking halls..,any little network downtime, u see them hissing and complaining as though u r the brain behind it!
