For I cant remember when the present administration awarded a rail contract if not the one done by Goodluck Jonathan before he left office.
Even those who claimed that Goodluck never did well in railway now pride by the work of his hand.
They claimed he was building an obsolete rail line and coach, I am yet to hear they have reviewed the contract for a 21st century one.
They now pose on the coach tracking on the rail. It is like dancing on one's enemy's grave. May this not be my portion IJN. Amen.

Nice developments. However, Are they newly procured or were they those from the previous administration? If this was from the previous admin, it's really commendable and shows the aspersions were/are unnecessary.

its good to establish because we need them but have we asked our self's questions wat happened to our maintenance culture? we cant continue pumping billions on this projects when it wont last up to 2 too 3 years and it will be forgotten.

Did GEJ not inspect projects by his predecessors? Did it purge him and did anyone complain? Are you advocating for every project by past governments to be abandoned (because by your logic, it would mean "eating from your enemy's pot"?

Does anyone know when the service will be launched? They said this month, but I doubt that. Would appreciate if anyone has updates on how far the project has come along.

Also, Does any one know if the Kaduna terminus (for this high speed service) is shared with the existing Lagos-Kano one, as it could provide an interchange for those in Kano to access Abuja by rail. I'm a transport planner hence the reason for asking such questions if anyone is wondering.

If Nigeria is a normal country, this rail project which Amaechi is inspecting is supposed to be found first in the Nigerdelta area, before Kaduna or any other part of the country.

Development in Nigerdelta area is supposed to have approached Dubai development level.

One of Jonathan major achievements. If you take flight into Abuja you will see the beautiful railway, once again we own it to Jonathan although Government is continuous so Amaechi should commission it but APC should ensure they do not play politics with it as the credit should be where is supposed.
