Chelsea supporters have been apoligising imeediately to John Obi Mikel after slating him on twitter for being at fault for Paris Saint-Germain’s opener on Tuesday evening. During the first-half of the Champions League match, the Nigeria international gave away a free-kick which PSG centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic slammed home via a deflection from the Blues midfielder.

Just after 20 seconds, Chelsea fans started calling for the club to sell the Nigerian who has made 354 appearances for the London outfit since making his debut in 2006. But the 28-year-old Obi Mikel redeemed himself almost immediately when he fired home from a corner to bring the two sides level going into the break at The Parc des Princes.
