The power sectors which is the generation of regular electricity: Nigeria need foreign partnership to succeed on this. Forget about this talk about local content. We are still far from developing a standard power sector on our own in Nigeria.

Agriculture: All the 36 states in Nigeria must run Agricultural farms such as ( crop agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and also agro allied industries. It is a shame that at this 21st century, Nigeria is relying on local fulani cattle men for the supply of our cattle meat in Nigeria. We are suppose to have a standard cattle farm with modern technology being run at an industrial level with graduate engaged for employment.

Information technology: we must set up mobile phone assembling plant in Nigeria with foreign partnership.

Solid Mineral sector: The solid mineral sector must be revitalised for economic growth. Take for example, countries such as South Africa are doing well in this area. We have a lot to learn from the South African.


Political Re-structuring: The Buhari government and leadership in the 36 states must sustain the fight against corruption. Secondly, Nigeria must merge our states to regions for economic development. We have to abandon the expensive american presidential system and maybe copy the British parliamentary system of government. The parliamentary system is cheaper and easier to run under our present economic woes.[/size]

Looking at the lsit of ministers,I can confidently say that very few of them can stand shoulder to shoulder with their colleagues from Africa,not to even talk about other parts of the world,in terms of competency.
They are simply a collection of family and friends.
A man's vision can never rise above the inner circle of the friends he keeps and the books he reads.
The ultimate problem is not the lack of oppourtunity but the lack of leadership.
Nigeria is not the only country that is heavily dependent on oil and gas neither is this the first time the price of crude oil fell below$30.
