SEUN: Just Before A Dollar Would Equal 1000naira.. by Nobody: 9:23pm On Feb 18, 2016
Oga Seun, a wise man once told me that 'with each new day in Africa, a gazelle wakes up knowing he must outrun the fastest lion or perish. At the same time, a lion stirs and stretches, knowing he must outrun the fastest gazelle or starve'.

Oga seun, this is no different for the human race, you simply have to run faster than others to survive.

Oga seun, is Buhari running or crawling? In today's fast-paced world, what is Mr president doing?

Oga seun, as I type a dollar sells at 385naira! Oga seun, the economy is crumbling... in 9months! 9months of crawling, 9months of traveling, 9months of blaming..

Oga seun, if we continue like this before 2019, there would be no Nigeria.

Oga Seun, I know you love Nigeria, this is evident from the ways you banned anything threatening the disunity of the nation. Seun, its time to act again for Nigeria!

We would join you to support the #Buharimustgo slogan...if ever you are willing to make it your mantra...for the love of 9ja.

True logic, as the fall of the naira will spur us to look inward.

Part of the reasons the value of our currency is rapidly dropping in the parallel market is because of the importers who bring in just about anything into the country since we hardly produce anything but rely on goods from outside. If the naira keeps falling at this rate, those importers will have no choice but to halt the importation of goods which will thus force us to produce them locally since we can't import finished goods from outside into the country anymore.

Until we start manufacturing/producing everything we need internally to meet our demand, the naira will keep falling.

I just dey laff gullible Nigerians...
They said they'll make 1 dollar equal to a naira, they've not been able to do it. Infact the naira has fallen more against the dollar.
Now they're telling you that it's a good thing for the Naira to fall against the dollar, and you're swallowing that?
Which country ever wishes for their currency to be almost valueless compared to international benchmark currency?
This's exactly how Zimbabwe started.
Na laff I dey laff... When the time comes,e go clear for Nigerians eyes say Buhari has no frigging idea of what he's doing.

Walahi am not a economist guy but I have understanding of Rise and Fall.-

When My Dikc Rise it means Pusi will Fall and when Pusi fall, Dikc will have more value and DRILL Pusi well well.Pusi will now be devalued.

But the Good news is that after some time of Drilling Dikc will release and after releasing,Dikc will fall the Pusi will then rise up while, Dikc will be flat.

So dont loose hope Naija peoples, Naira will Rise again!!!!

What will happen is Naira well fall, Buhari will continue stubbornness then he will be ousted. Just like his last time as HOS

Maybe fall like the Zimbabwe dollar which forced the country to adopt the Chinese Yuan as legal tender? Currency can lose value but not to the rate naira is falling.
If Buhari was not elected he could have been another "the best president Nigeria never had", seeking power since 2003, now he is there only to get the Naira shattered and his supporters are clapping for him and blaming Jonathan.

OIL AND LFR
THE TWO MAIN MEANS OF INCOME FOR NIGERIA ECONOMY
.....with the determination of Nigeria president Buhari and the trust of of world leaders toward nigeria, from America, Eroupe, Asia and gulf nation the down price of oil and the rise in $ is not a corse to nigeria but a blessing.
Among the oil producing countries, and OPEC only nigeria have what other didn't, we have oil in common but nigeria have the looters as well, this opportunity raise nigeria above other oil nation and when all this country are frustrated with oil down price, nigeria have turn to her looted fund reserved to keep her economy running.
Nigeria is bless with oil and (LFR) looted fund reserve, when the oil price is down, the rise-up of dollar $ hike the value of our LFR, if government inject the LFR recovered on the economy, it will boot our economy!
at rate of $ to ₦ today if government managed to recovered $1 trillion LFR it will give us:

$1=₦400, $1trillion=₦400trillion!
I hereby challenge the Nigeria economists who insist that rising $ and downwards of oil price is a broke to nigeria economy to come-up for debate!
Note (LFR is looted fund reserve)

Bible say fear not(fear-north). I add my own say 'fear- south west'. Cunningly, Soyinka and Obasanjo have spoken out cowardly so that when the country finally collapses, they would be like they warned as per 'egbon'... Smh!!! And someone is saying let Naira fall and Naija rise. How can a sane person say that? Till we become Zimbabwe,it is high time we stopped been hypocrites. For once, accept you supported and voted for the wrong people @ the polls.

True, but the problem isn't importation; it's the lack of exportation of goods apart from oil. Importation is like spending while exportation is like earning. Spending money is not bad, that's how you get the goods you need, but you need to earn money before you can spend it. In the same way, importation isn't bad, but you need to export many goods so you can earn enough forex to be able to import the goods you need. To me, the weakening naira is beneficial, not because it makes importation more expensive, but because it makes exportation more profitable.
