Finally! This is long awaited.

I know some brainless religious bigot will nag about endtime, but religion should be personal not disturbing neighbours and the whole community because u are communicating with your God!

I support this bill

The law has a lot of good intentions....but it is fraught with problems



1.What exactly constitutes preaching? What qualifies one to be a preacher?

2.What is ''derogatory language towards another religion'' (The term is so loosely defined. For example...If a preacher of religion X says that religion X is the only true religion....that could be considered abusing other religions ....since the comment can be taken to implying religion Y and Z are false.

You dont have to be too academic in your thinking. I believe the Interpretation Section of the Law will take care of all that.

Am worried for Nigeria .

With the Number of false prophets ,Muslims and Christians alike I think this bill will help to an extent to reduce the number of fakes around.

These days anyone at all can pick up a gramophone , put up a shed and start a church or a Islamic center.

People have lost their lives,sanity e.t.c to deliverances from so called prophets , people have been raped, impregnated and all sorts of evil ,simply because if a man/woman tells us they are of God we believe them.
At least for the gullible's sake and safety shouldn't we request that an independent body accesses every so called MOG ?

On what grounds will one be eligible to apply for a preaching licence?

There is no where in the world where u are awaken at 4am in d morning by a preacher with microphone on full blast. The way we take religion in this part of the world is ridiculous. Even the people that thot us what religion is do not practise it to this extent.
