Buhari needs to
energise his team. They are looking
weak and timid. I think most, if not all
of them, are too scared to take risks and
use their initiative. This is sad. No
matter what you may say about
Jonathan, his ministers were bubbly
and vibrant.
They enjoyed some modicum of
freedom that fired their imagination
and temperament.
The President needs
to encourage his men and women to
loosen up or nothing tangible would be
achieved soon. Everyone seems to be
watching and studying the body
language of the President and there are
always conflicting signals.

Word.

When I raised hell about the scandalous
budget last week, I was impressed when
President Buhari responded by
admitting that something terrible had
happened and acted swiftly to fire a
scapegoat. - Dele Momodu

So out of all the criticism flying around, Buhari responded to yours. For your mind.

Though an ardent supporter of this government, I'll suggest that Buhari carries out a minor cabinet reshuffle and wipe out the likes of the ministers of finance, communication, foreign affairs, information, budget and national planning and also that of environment. This is entirely my opinion because these ministers either make noise in the wrong way or are obviously quite and redundant.

Nigeria must pick an option before it is too late. This fact is corroborated by the alarm raised by Professor Wole Soyinka who said Nigeria’s needs an urgent economic conference to arrest the present explosive drift. For me, another conference is not the solution. Nigerians are tired of the endless confabs with attendant communique that end up in the dustbin of history unimplemented. What is urgently required is a practical team that will proffer practical solutions that are practical to be executed.

It is the same way I can’t feel any sense of urgency or desperation on the part of our economic experts in the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank. It seems obvious that there is a kind of lackadaisical attitude on their parts while the Naira is busy dancing kpalongo on the parallel market.

May be the time has come for the President to wield the big stick in the finance circuit. What is going on is too disgraceful and unthinkable. If something is not done urgently, the consequences may be too grave for our country... Dele Momodu

This government is as self-destructive as the past government. The only difference is the party name.

The same clueless people. I'm not partisan but the "change soup" is fast becoming tasteless.

The government is made up of actors and actresses - no body seems real. We need real people ready to face reality.

This is Nigeria not Nollywood neither is it Super Story.

The problem with Nigeria is Structural problem, each successive govt comes out worse than the previous govt that have noticed. We need to restructure the type of government system we run. This is not about change or no change, people simply got fed up of PDP and took out the frustration on Jonathan. A lot of atrocities that used to go unnoticed like the Budget padding, corruption at all levels revealed itself during Jonathan's era. The hardship we are facing today is because of fall in Oil price in the international market. Stop blaming Buhari by saying his govt has no policy direction this that, it will take time for the govt to get things back together since our major source of income is going down. It was even the crude oil we sell the stabilizes the naira before but our buyers are reducing everyday there is nothing Buhari can do for now. Things will be difficult for now in Nigeria.
