This is a welcome idea if the source is confirmed to be true.
Its sad that Alhaji lai refused to remove the agbada of an opposition spokesman and put on the suits of ruling party Information minister .

May be he needs a refresher course on how to speak as Minister of Information.
His utterances since becoming the Minister have been so embarrassing and below expectation.
A govt that preaches CHANGE should have someone who does not act contrary as its image maker in terms of information dissemination.

Personally, I feel the challenges of Alhaji Lai cos his words and actions in the past will stare him based on his present position .

A man that has accused and lambasted past govt of inefficiencies and lopsidedness will need to be calculative in reaction when the govt he represent is accused of same especially when the accusations seems glaring

Alhaji Lai should always liased with the govt especially the handlers of the president before he make any pronouncement cos his position may be in contrast with the president on various issues .
E.g is the issue of budget where he openly said it was not padded only for the president to say it was padded and the perpetrators will be brought to book.

The NA had to debunk such utterances only for Alhaji Lai to say it was substandard equipment . The NA contradicted him again that they were not using substandard equipment and alas, Alhaji Lai lost his voice.
