Poor Academic Performance: UI Sends 97 Students Packing by Lazyreporta(op): 7:09am On Feb 26, 2016

Authorities of the University of Ibadan have ordered the withdrawal of 97 students for failing to meet University standards.

According to a statement released by the University’s Information Unit, the university’s Governing Council approved the withdrawal of the students after they failed to meet minimum academic requirements at the end of the 2014/2015 session.

The affected students are from seven faculties in the institution, with some in the final year of their programmes.

Should this really be in the news? I think every student is given a manual by the school durring their matriculation in which its stated clearly that if your cgpa cant flash glo to glo you will be rusticated.
