That was actually one of Rooney's best games this season. He just fecked it up by missing that chance. His hold up play and passing was better today but we need more.

The performance in the first 30 mins was very good the players just failed to take their chances.

Giggs by all standard understands the premier league more than the coach of Manchester United.

Since United lost out at the UCL last December and the subsequent serial losses in matches that followed, I gave up on watching United play. Even whilst I had nothing doing at home I'd just sit back and lay waste than go watch unpredictable and sore losers of a club called United.

This January, I kept hearing that Captain rooney had picked form and now dribbles, scores and gives assists.

Gbam! !! I was eager to see what a beast Rooney had transformed into.

Then last weekend I sat down gleefully to watch, sadly the same boring and tactless game I'm used to, since October 2015. United lost at home !!!! I keep consoling myself that after the next match LVG would be sacked. But I've been saying this since November and I'm already tired of waiting to hear the good news of LVG's sack! !!

It's indeed appalling. Even Ifeanyi Ubah the owner of Ifeanyi Ubah football club would handle LVG the same way Abramovich handled Mourinho not minding Mourinho signed new contract same year he was sacked.

A very good match. Our academy players are wonderful. This academy set have a lot of promises if they are well blended, with proper guidance they could surpass the academy set of giggs and scholes. Time will tell.

Rashford passes are sleek and sexy and his finishes are also wonderful. I think he has an intelligent movement. He positions himself perfectly at a point he would receive the ball and finish the scoring. Do we still need Rooney against arsenal?

Memphis is gradually regaining confidence. The boys had a great game. Varela the Uruguayan was superb
Riley too.

These academy kids have played together for years and perfectly understand one another. See how varela caught rashford at the other end and gave the pass. Many examples to prove it. I say the academy kids be given more chance to prove their worth. Since fellaini and Rooney are all no longer ho...rny for goals.

Maybe we could replace lingard with Riley for that right wing spot and let's see how he does. He's quick, and can dribble. hasn't had too many chances to show his crossing skills because he's playing LB.

Rashford was excellent too. His movement was awesome and those two finishes were world class. I've seen veterans sky those kind of chances before.
