Some people are just dumb sha! How does this lion issue relate to IPOB. You can even go ahead and say the drop in naira conotes the drop in relevance of igbos in nigeria. Mtscheew!

This typifies the relationship between Nigerian government and the Eastern region.

It is left for the Easterners to take their destiny by force before they are reduced to the Lion seen above.

If these clowns can't run a zoo, then they should sell these animals to countries that actually care about wild animals.. I won't be surprised if someone is busy embezzling money meant for feeding these animals..

Very true. same thing crossed my mind. People are probably embezzling the money meant to feed the poor animals. Poor lion. I don't think he's even alive sef sad

Must you folks always bring tribalism into every thing? for pete's sakes, we r discussing about the sad state of the supposed 'KING OF THE JUNGLE' and here you are compartmentalizing issues. Mind you i'm not being insultive, jez being curious how your mind can spiral and juxtapose one issue with another.... #OneNaija

This is really unfair, Nigeria govt always paying attention to crude oil while other sectors suffered.
I won't be surprise if someone is diverting the funds meant for this animals.

Corruption. Im sure millions have been budgeted for the feeding and care of that lion but where does the funds go? Sending children abroad to skool, building n buyin houses and not to mention buying SUVs. I might be wrong but if the zoo cant maintain the lion or other animals sell it or let them go to the games reserve or national park

I guarantee if anyone should send this to CNN, they won't even bother to investigate it because they expect things like this from us. Why try to change people with animalistic tendecies. Nigeria is just too weird.

The average Nigerian is not nature-oriented, every activity carried out by them on earth is tended towards their own survival.

I don't blame them though, in a country where wealth is not evenly distributed and survival is a struggle, where will you get the inspiration to appreciate nature?

Nigeria isn't qualified to run a zoo... Let the poor animals go. They might be much happier in their natural habitat. angry

The way the economy is right now, if the Zoo staff can eat that lion dem fit chop am.

I have 5 Male dogs now and 1 Bitch (a real LovePeddler), i can hardly feed them these days or the price of how much i get their food seems not to fill them lately.

The female dog is the only dog ive never touched in my house, keeps running from people, today i met a stray male dog (Local) banging the female dog in my own house entered from under my gate, ive been looking for a way to kill that bitch since morning, stoning it nd ish. im putting a bounty on the dog for the cleaners to resume on monday, first to kill the dog before i close from work gets 2 K angry angry angry angry angry angry.

Anyone who knows the best way to kill a dog could please spare ideas, please.

nope it can't. It has been starved for weeks and is so weak. It can only eat prepared meat that has already been killed. Even a small rabbit can defend herself from this lion at this stage

This Zoo should have its license revoked!
Shey na by force?
It might seem like nothing serious as this doesn't involve a human, but this is a living creature too
This is starvation being used a tool for torture.[/size]
