Go and read your first post again. If u see s+u+p+p+o+r+t there it means someone else wrote your SSCE English for u. Mind u I am for Buhari but I think he goofed on this issue. Even if he had done it for say two months and then come up with this argument he might get a support. Honesty is the best policy.
Your stùpídiîty is ernomous. So if I use the word support it can only mean to support One person? And stop posting more stupid stuff with your numerous monikers. Stupìdíty in great magnitude doesn't equal wisdom, stop spaming me with many user id

Those promises were made at $100 dollar oil. Not realistic at $30 dollar oil. Leadership must evaluate its decisions at every moments.
Kudos PMB. Yes it is a failed promise. But it is better to make d right decision even though it may lead to failed promises. Even though oil price have started falling during the election, it was still above $60 then which is twice what it is today.

This post is not to defend PMB. This post is to support him for making the right decision. I never agree to the 5000 naira stipend to unemployed graduate. It would have be a waste. But 5000 naira for the most vunerable 1million nigerians (Mostly widows and physically challenge) is welcome if we can fund it. 5k to unemployed graduate is a no no no.

PMB did not deny the promise was made despite the fact that he never personally made d promise. He is only saying on his scale of preference, that is not among top priority. PMB is a firm and sincere leader. He speak his mind straight up. No president in the world including United State of America, have ever succeeded in fulfilling all campaign promises.

At every point in time, a leader must evaluate what he consider most important to d nation and make a bold decision. Leadership is dynamic. It is better to be criticise for not achieving a campaign promise than implementing a promise that is unrealistic just to save face. Even if it means losing the next election,or losing popularity, a leader must put the country first.

The funny thing is dat those wailers who never supported the idea, who said it will promote laziness, will still be the one to condemn and criticise him for not prioritising it instead of commending him for doing d needful.

I am living in governance mode. I dont care about what campaign promise were. I only care about good governance. Any campaign promise that is not realistic today can go to hell. For those who cares so much about campaign promises, you can use ur PVC in 2019 and vote what u want. For those who claim Buhari won the election because of 5000 naira stipend for unemployed are not saying the truth. More than 99% of people who voted for Buhari voted for him because he was seen as much better to fight corruption and boko haram. Not because he promised 5000 naira. I am not even sure he got 100 votes because of the 5000 naira stipend promise.

For that primary reason of fighting corruption and Boko haram, he may not have done it perfectly, but he is clearly better than GEJ. And he was voted because he was considered better in fighting it than GEJ and not because he will be able to fight it perfectly. That is progress, Reduction of negative is positive. For that, he has fulfilled his top two campaign promises.

The greatest irony is that, majority of those who voted Buhari are okay with his decision. Majority of us who voted him dont feel deceived or betrayed. Majority of us who voted Buhari fully support him on this especially with global economy and oil price. Why are those who never voted him complaining of being Scammed? Wailers you were not Scammed because you never voted for his campaign promises! So shut your mouth!

Leadership is about optimising available resources for the best of the country. Not wasting it on project in order to look good and save face

I promise to buy you food and then I later tell you "sorry, I wouldnt be able to do that anymore for certain reasons"; how on earth is that a lie?... You need that dictionary more than anyone else.

Meanwhile, the man still has 3 years to find chibok girls and efforts are currently ongoing in that regard, so I still dont understand what you mean by lie here, except of course you need that dictionary more than everyone else.

Do you know what a promise means? Check your dictionary again. A promise is not meant to be broken because it is a commitment. Just as a man promises to be faithful to his wife during marriage. If he commits adultry, then the man is useless.

Same with our president...He made promises even when he was warned against it by Nigerians but he insisted. He is a liar and nothing more.

Note that a lying tongue will steal at some point. Its a good thing this govt has a very lean purse to deal with here so they will really need to put their thinking caps on to figure out how to make enough money to run the country as well as the one they will eventually steal. We should not keep quiet but continue to keep this govt on its toes as it figures out its way out of this wilderness of confusion. Giving out handouts never helped any country without first fixing the economy so that more jobs can be created,so this govt deciding against giving out 5k was long expected at a time like this. This govt should copy an obama who when he was elected president at a time america was facing recession decided to throw more money in the hands of its citizens by bailing out big coys and making loans readily available.

There is a freaking difference between a broken/unfulfilled promise and a lie. Stop thinking with your emotions, I'm sure you should know the difference.

OBj thinks chibok girls cannot be rescued, how does that translate to PMB lying that he would rescue chibok girls?

Thirdly, PMB did not mention 2 months, only certain idiots reported this; just the same way some idiots reported that PMB stated he would eliminate bokoharam in 3 months even though the video recording of the cnn interview was still up on the cnn website. Once again, try to reason with your brain not your heart.

Leave story...If someone makes a statement on your behalf, you counter it if you do not agree. Silence indicates acceptance. It's only when he won that we started hearing otherwise cos he needed the lies to win votes.

Unfulfilled promise? Are you planning to help the government fulfil what they have no interest in fulfilling.

They just wanted power by all means. PMB is a thief and a fraudulent old burukutu sipping don.keyyy.yy.

He comes and shuts everyone up with anti corruption slogan and yet stealing for his family and children.

Anyway, the zombies better brace up to farm, no free food or money in Freetown, you'll rather you caught Ebola.

Was it by force to make promises? Nigerians have been lied to one time too many by these set of people called politicians. He held himself out as different and saintly among all others. He should dare to live up to his promises and keep his word!
understand ur point dear...but most of us knew that this promises wasn't realistic when it was made, so if he says that he can't fulfill the promise of paying 5k to unemployed youth we shouldn't make a case out of it...We ve been scammed as usual.

Why wont he change his decision over paying unemployed youths? Remember that even last month, they were busy saying they are gathering reports on how to commence the payment, with the intention that Nigerians will not fish out the stupid exaggeration of the budget. But since the hidden things in the budget has been exposed, the secret over increment in the amount of things were probed and stopped by the Nigerians, buhari has resorted to scrapping the payment. God is watching

Nigerian youth are lazy... Many repose their destinies on Buhari's N5000 stipend. How will N5000 sustain a person in a month? Instead to clamour for employment, they await the fulfilment of the stipend promised by the FG.

You better go to street like Olajumoke, because someone may discover from there. That's answered call.

Nice decision by Mr Buhari
