Oscar the Brazilian ghost.

Commentator just said "we haven't seen much of him".

When will their brain click to realise they never see him. It's the Brazilian hype.

Yes. That equalizer was the catalyst for the win today. Brilliant. Can't fault it. 3 points. On to the next one.

I no too follow that Oliseh story nor did I watch any of his SE matches. I just know he is a nigga who don't brook no unprofessionalism or mago mago. It's not everyone that can survive in Naija environment and deal with unpaid wages, bonuses, hotels etc and have some doofuses on technical committee plus NFF officials trying to force their players on you and chatting shyte. Some niggas cannot handle Nigerian factor. I know I'm one cos I don't suffer fools gladly.
I agree but here's my thing he knew the situation on ground before taking the job. He's not a foreigner and secondly his performances on the pitch was nothing short of mediocre. His rants on that video clearly showed he had lost the plot. Did you see him whine about his failure at C.H.A.N? Claiming he rejected the job twice? Coming from someone who pounded other coaches while he was a pundit then he fumbles and doesn't show ability to taste his own medicine

Siasia's initial sack was a mistake in the first place. Although he failed to qualify the team to the 2012 AFCON, he would have qualified for the subsequent Nations Cup tournaments with the same set of players.

Eguavoen had already lost the key game away to Guinea before SiaSia took over.

Even in the final game, Sia1 had the 2-1 win against Guinea that he needed. Permutations meant that was enough to qualify based on the other teams results but incompetent NFF communications failed to inform SiaSia leading him to make attacking substitutions to chase the 3-1 result that he thought he needed. Guinea equalised on counterattack and we were knocked out.

SiaSia did not lose a single qualifying game and was unfairly sacked. Eguavoen had already put SE on the back foot earlier in qualifying.

I hope the rumours of bringing in Walter Sabatini as TD are true also, so we can finally get rid of that ninny-stocking, Brazilian-loving, building teams with no leaders/communicators, incompetent poossy called Emenalo.

Frank Lampard on our ninny-stocking, Brazilian loving Aba-Made Technical Director who likes buying poosies.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3467468/Chelsea-fantastic-spirit-big-personalities-worry-warns-club-legend-Frank-Lampard.html

Chelsea had a fantastic spirit with big personalities but I worry where they are now, warns club legend Frank Lampard

'I do worry about where the real personalities of the team are,' Lampard added.

'To be a big team, you have to have big personalities. I don't want to sound like I am harking back to the days of me and John and Ashley Cole and Petr Cech and Didier Drogba but I do see a team now where John is the last mainstay of that identity.

'We had a fantastic spirit at Chelsea. We are kind of famous for it now. People criticised us for it to try to take away the gloss of what we were doing.

'Maybe Chelsea are looking for a more beautiful way now.

'The club has been trying to push it down that route with the players they have recruited over the last four or five years. The problem is if you fall in the middle, somewhere between tough and beautiful. It's nice football at times but it's not that nice and it's not really winning games. It's not beautiful, beautiful stuff.

Right. Siasia was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I remember his Super Eagles team made Argentina's B-team look like amateurs in a friendly match in Abuja, where Nigeria won 4-1. The fluency of the SE's attacking moves was a joy to watch. Even Mikel looked like an upgrade on Zidane and Vieira in that game.

My worry is on how Siasia would combine his roles as both U-23 and Super Eagles coach. The workload may overwhelm him unless he delegates some duties to his U-23 assistants with regards to preparing the team for the Olympics.

Regardless of whether Naija qualifies to the 2017 AFCON, Siasia should be allowed to coach the SE in the upcoming World cup qualifying campaign. He has the tactical nous and experience to lead the team to the world cup. Moreover, for Naija footy to grow, the NFF needs to be thoroughly professionalized. It's embarrassing that the FA of a major African nation owes its employees (coaches) 2-3 months' salaries.
