before you criticise an eight month APC
Government in Nigeria pls read this;
How PDP ruined Nigeria.
1. PDP met a bag of rice at less than N2500 in
1999 but left it at N10,000 in 2015 when they left
power.
2. PDP met the Dollar at N20 when they came in
1999 but left it at N220 in 2015 when they were
leaving.
3. PDP met petrol pump price at N11 when they
came in 1999 but left it at N87 when they were
leaving in 2015.
4. PDP met a bag of cement at less than N400
but left it at N2000 while they were leaving in
2015.
5. PDP met a tin of milk at N15 in 1999 but left
it at N100 when they left in 2015.
6. PDP met only OPC in 1999 but left us with
Niger Delta militancy, MASSOB, IPOB, BAKASSI,
and Boko Haram as at when they left in 2015.
7. PDP was ushered in with a free and fair
election in 1999 by the military but they left us
with ballot box snatching, rice sharing for
campaigns, do-or-die politics, political
assassinations,etc.

That's nothing compared to what APC has done in only 8 months:

A derica of rice under PDP as @ February 2015:

N150 and now under APC N250

Bag of pure water under PDP N80/N100, now under APC N150/N200

Bag of rice under PDP in 2015 was N10,000 now under APC eight months later N14,000/N15,000 depends on brand

Kilo of Turkey under PDP in 2015 was N750, while carton was about N7500 now only eight months later same kilo is N1,000/N1,200 and carton N8,500/N9,000

I can go on and on, but there's no point. It took sixteen years for the price of milk to increase from N20 to N100, this was largely due to increases in salaries of civil servants which will definitely affect prices of goods and services. But under APC, despite the inability of state governments to pay worker's salaries, prices of almost everything is on the increase.

OBJ and Yaradua increased minimum wages of civil servants, besides this, salaries of SANU and ASU were increased several times during the 16 years of PDP rule. You cannot increase salaries without experiencing increases in prices of goods.

But explain the astronomical increase in prices of goods under this administration in only 8 mths, despite reduction in purchasing power of an average citizen?

Which petrol sells for N87? FYI there is fuel scarcity, you can't even get petrol and when you do, you will buy for N110/N120 or more.

Also, electricity tariff is now over 50% higher than it was in April 2015, yet we are experiencing epileptic power supply.

All this and more is happening under nine months of APC rule.

What are you insinuating see let me advice you if you know you have nothing to say just keep quiet they increased minimum wages is that your point? my friend that is pointless meanwhile minimum wages in 1999 get value than 18k of pdp minimum wages what 13k can buy in that time your 18k cannot do it now before pdp took over in 1999 everything was well organised but when they re-structured it due to their selfishness interest everythings changed from good to bad.

Thia your jargons can be attributed to the current state of thr economy occassioned by the heartless looting of the nation Treasury and also the fallen price of oil which makes it artificial.

The ones listed by the OP was occasioned by the corruption and wickedness of PDP.

What we have now is artificial and will clear out once the economy picks up.

You didnt talk about the multiple security threats pdp created for nigerians in their 16yrs rule? You pretended not to notice the unprecedented massive looting of public funds? What the squandering of our resources on frivolities and ridiculous irresponsible projects that no one can account for? You were boasting of increment in salary to N18k a month. What can that do for an average nigerian in civil service South african minimum wage is N70k, yet we claim to be economic giants! PDP succeeded in impoverishing nigerians and even boasting about it.

You are not making sense, what is your level of education? I hope you have at least a secondary education, if you do, you should be able to understand the dynamics of market forces. Most often when there is increase in purchasing power, prices of goods and services go up, especially if these increases exceed the rate of growth of the economy.

As at 1999 a bag of rice was 5,500.
Naira was 96 to $1
A tin of peak milk sold for 75
A bag of cement sold at 700.
And petrol sold at 15 per liter.

APC makes the devil look saintly, they have outlied him.
