there is something going on on that campus over the 6 days, was there sometimes last week to check someone and couldn't believe my eyes, there were scores if not close to 60 students waiting to receive injections from the nurses, some sitting on the floor , some lying down etc, it looked like a scene from an epidemic outbreak...i have seen students waiting to be attended to but never in this high numbers at once. |

Na so so Mosquito with heat dey finish the students small small ooo. Stagnant water too much for everywhere come tell me ao mosquito no go dey. The weather also is not encouraging. I think to stop this disease, the students must not wait for the school to do it. Sometimes the school will not be aware so the student must come together to clean up the environment, clear the gutters so that stagnant water can flow and remove dirts like broken plastic, bottles cos they accommodates mosquitoes. Let keep OAU Clean, OAU OniBaje oooo. |

With the ratio of males to females its imperative to include sexual transmission as a critarion to the diagnosis. Cos those 10 guys might in one way or d other be running tins with d 65 babes and counting |

I have friends in oau, and they always recount how its been every semester during the holiday and i wonder sometimes if oau is a mini-Nigeria. Doesnt look like anything conducive for anything called learning!! If any FG in power can just extend, add new hostels for students across 30campuses in the country, students would see it as a colossal effort. |
| Re: OAU students express concern about increased sickness by johnwick1: 12:05pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
This is a Big lie, ,no Dr Ilesanmi at OAU health center, no outbreak of anything and mind you that you want to write something on ur page does not mean u should be peddling wrong information around. though u might be right about a slight increase in numbers of pple having these symptoms but everything is under control. |
| Re: OAU students express concern about increased sickness by Iamanonymouss: 12:23pm On Feb 29, 2016 |
two of my roommates fell sick and they're better now. I don't think it's abnormal for OAU students to fall sick like this because exams are close by and we've spent about two months in this hell hole called a hostel. it'll definitely tell on some people. |

flightz:getting more hands and not just doctors will go a long way to help the system. I really pity those doctors at times, they look so stressed up and seriously under pressure when working...little wonder they snap up while working..i'm quite close to a few of them and what they tell you regarding the system is a sorry tale..imagine working 40 hours with only 8 hours break in between....that can really mess your psyche up.. |

onyxo76:Eyah. But the nurses mostly gist away in their room. They should be reduced sef or allow them clerk patients, at least in primary health centres, CHEWS do the consulting and all. My thoughts though. Nigeria! |

Nigeria![/quote yeah you are right , that was how it was in the past, but the OAU health centre is no longer a primary health care unit it was originally designed to be, hence the nurses cannot clerk patients there.. |
