I still believe that this dollar appreciation against the naira is the handwork of some greedy and mischievous ones amongst us. God go fall their hand soonest. Like if you agree with me. |

InvertedHammer:The focus is not the sustainance of forex, but the push fornigerians to start producing instead of being a consumption giant. Its better now than never. |

Oh boy!!!!!!! Biafrans won't be happy to hear this o. Any good news about Nigeria will give them sleepless night. It makes perfect sense, how can people who are anti -Nigerian Government ever wish us well ?? They want to see Nigeria sink so they can get their objective. Their intentions are obvious. |

More from: http://dailypost.ng/2015/03/23/i-will-make-naira-equal-in-value-to-dollar-buhari/ It is a shame we have devilish journalists in this country. No direct quotation of him saying he will make N1 equal to $1 |

persius555:/ Nigerians are very predictable. US dollars comes down to N197 and the rush to import will start all over again. Locally produced goods? When government cannot give steady power supply nor make fuel readily available. It is all wishful thinking. / |

InvertedHammer:They are not trying to sustain the naira by injecting dollars, rather, they are trying to dilute demand in the short term by tightening naira supply and creating uncertainty among speculators. In the long term, they plan to support local substitutes and stimulate exports. |

My mum said she was taking a walk in her neighbourhood the other day,she stopped to buy bitterkola from one mama;normally she use to sell one for ten naira, instead she told my mum it was now three for fifty naira;when my mum enquired why she said,"won ni Dola ti won " that is to say and I quote"they said dollar has gone up", I wonder! If at the end of the day dollar stabilises, I doubt it would go back to 160naira again-though I hope it does. Maybe #220 -#260 to a dollar. |
