At conception, gender is determined by chromosome characteristics – and it will be the male
(or rather the male’s sperm) that dictates whether the baby will be a boy or a girl.

The time of intercourse during ovulation period determines d gender of a baby because Y chromosome runs faster but dies quickly while X chromosome runs slow but stay longer in d uterus.
If u meet your wife on d day she releases an egg, der is 99% chance dat she will deliver a baby boy

but i was told that if you meet your patner when she releases egg there's 99% chances of her giving birth to a baby Girl

REASONs i was told is that:
the Xchromosome is powerful than the Y chromosome.. And if you meet ur patner wen she just release an egg.. The X will over power the Y chromosome and the chances of producing a female offspring is very certain
But when meet your patner 24hrs after she released.. There's 99% of producing a Male child Becoz ..then the X chromosome has gettingweaker by which the Y chromosome can over power it!

It's true X chromosome is stronger dan Y chromosome but Y chromosome runs faster dan X chromosome.
So, if der is no sperm in d uterus prior to the release of an egg. Y chromosome will reach d egg before X chromosome.
And naturally, females have only X chromosome. So d male determines d gender of a child
