Why Buhari's Administration Is Having A Hard Time - Ndume by Crystal70200: 2:23pm On Mar 01, 2016 |
The Senate leader, Ali Ndume has disclosed that elites are the ones sabotaging President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Speaking with journalist on Monday, February 29, Ndume said the angry elites were militating against President Buhari’s moves to turn around the country’s economy from the mess left by previous administrations. He said there was a deliberate attempt by elites angry with Buhari’s war against corruption, to set the masses against this administration and make the All Progressives Congress (APC) government unpopular. The Senate leader blamed the elites for the hardship Nigerians are facing especially the rising prices of food stuffs. “If not for the saboteurs, Nigerians would have been reaping the dividend of electing President Buhari. Otherwise, what has the fall of naira to do with the price of millet, tomatoes and other locally produced commodities? It is understandable that the price of imported rice is affected,” he said. Ndume called on Nigerians to be patient, saying the APC government was hard to improve the living conditions of the people and turn things around for good. Two weeks ago, Chief John Oyegun, the national chairman of the APC said some people had been compromised and were sabotaging Buhari’s government. It appears this administration has a powerful group of saboteurs to contend with. These saboteurs are everywhere, in oil, power and education sectors. These group of people have been blamed for most of the things going wrong in the society, most especially the 2016 budget saga. As a result, Buhari reportedly ordered the complete purge of the Budget Office following the discrepancies, errors and padding of the budget. That's not an excuse at all. Don't bring that at all Mr Ndume. When the last administration said the same thing we all, including APC condemned them. How can a whole government with all federal might be sabotaged by an unknown group or individuals. Buhari should intensify his war against corruption, reform citizens mind set and diversify the economy. The saboteurs should be smoked out and punished according to the law. 7 Likes |

419 This government is "Super Clueless", they have no idea of governance in the 21st century, more so a multicultural and dynamic nation like Nigeria. APC is better off in opposition with their usual lies and propaganda than being in government. As many who bestowed this stupidity upon Nigeria, may your judgment come quickly. 14 Likes 4 Shares |

Even in one's family there are saboteurs. One of the basic difference between the past and present administration is that the later has the focus and determination to sail through the storm, and also has the capacity and will to deal with saboteurs unlike the former who knows about saboteurs but was clueless, hopeless, helpless and hapless to take on them simply because they are all accomplice in one form or the other. |

When i read some comments above mine, i was tempted to curse Jonathan for throwing in the towel by conceding a deservedly defeat and thus rendered his supporters to an untold bitterness and endless wailing. I encourage them not to give up just yet, they should look at the life of Fayose, ffk, Metuh and Co. Even if the 'dullard' do not give them attention they should delight in their vain blabbing for one day the devil will listen to them. |

They don't have to do anything to Buhari's government. They only need to sit down and watch him perform his 'miracles'. |

Standing5: If u were a pawpaw seller or dealer and u normally buy rice at 4k per bag you would already price ur goods to meet ur family commitments right? Now, 3 months after d last bag, u go to buy another and u are told it's now 7k. U probably have to replace your TV which ur cousin told u he bought for 40k same 3 months ago. So, you gather ur funds and raise 45k for purchase and installation only to be told the same TV costs 55k. Using the above scenario, will the cost of your pawpaw, which is ur business and source of income increase or not? This is not including the costs of clothes and books for your children which have also increased because imported goods have naturally increased because of the exchange rate. Tell me, will u bow out of business because pawpaw is homegrown and not imported? |
