And there you go again with the Yoruba tag on any SS person who does not fall for the Biafra fraud. The Igboid peoples in the SS don't make up to 7% of the SS's population, and moreover 80% of them don't agree they are Igbos. And this they do with very strong logical reasons.
And who has claimed here that the SS is a single tribe? It is Igbos that should leave the SS alone. Igbos claim the SS people are their cousins and at the same time say that the SS is not a single tribe. Then how come peoples of different tribes are all your cousins at the same time? Fraudulent people!
Igbos should stop calling us their cousins. We are not in anyway related with them. That we are neighbours with them geographically does not automatically translate to blood links. The SS is not the one trying to seceed from Nigeria and trying to force Igbos to join them. It is rather the Igbos that are trying to force the SS into Biafra. So it is Igbos that should be asked to leave the SS alone. When Igbos, led by Zik in 1960, foolishly decided to sell the entire South to slavery under the North by teaming up with Ahmadu Bello against the rest of the South we all respected their right to freedom of political association even though we knew their decision to team up with the North was fueled by greed and opportunism. So Igbos too must respect the right of freedom of the SS to remain in Nigeria and not join Biafra. Igbos should leave the SS alone and go and mind the business of their alliance with the North which Zik left for them as his legacy.
