Jesus and the Adulterer Woman..

According To The Bible John 8:1-11

New Living Translation (NLT)

A Woman Caught in Adultery

8 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives,2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them.3 As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “thiswoman was caught in the act of adultery.5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”6 They were tryingto trap him into sayingsomething they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger.7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said,“All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.9 When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman.10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman,“Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”11 “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said,“Neither do I. Go and sin no more.

”According To Gospel Of Barnabas Jesus having entered into the Temple, the scribes and Pharisees brought to him a woman taken in adultery.

They said among themselves: 'If he save her, it is contrary to theLaw of Moses, and so we have him as guilty, and if he condemn herit is contrary to his own doctrine, for he preaches mercy.' Wherefore they came to Jesus and said: 'Master, we have found this woman in adultery. Moses commanded that [such] should be stoned: what then say you? There upon Jesus stooped down and with his finger made a mirror on the ground wherein every one saw his own iniquities.

They still pressed for the answer, Jesus lifted up himself As and, pointing to the mirror with his finger, said: 'He that is without sin among you, let him be first to stone her.' And again he stooped down, shaping the mirror. The men, seeing this, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, for they were ashamed to see their abominations.

Jesus having lifted up himself, and seeing no one but the woman, said: 'Woman, where are they that condemned you?' The woman answered, weeping: 'Lord, they are departed; and if you will pardon me as God lives, I will sin no more.'

Then Jesus said: 'Blessed be God! Go your wayin peace and sin no more, for God has notsent me to condemn you.'Then, the scribes and Pharisees being assembled, Jesus said to them: 'Tell me: if one of you had an hundred sheep, and should lose one of them, would you not go to seek it, leaving the ninety and nine?

And when you found it, would you not lay it upon your shoulders and, having called together your neighbours, say to them:"Rejoice with me, for I have found the sheep which I had lost"? Assuredly you would do so. Now tell me, shall our God love less man, for whom he has made theworld?

As God lives, even so there is joy in the presence of the angels of God overone sinner that repents;because sinners make known God's mercy.'

The Gospel of Barnabas is a forgery written thousands of years after Jesus.

So it's definitely not my choice.

DeathStroke007:
and bible was written during Jesus time?
Nope but at least it was written in the 1st century. The Gospel of Barnabas was written around 14th century and is not considered a reliable source for Jesus by any historical scholar.

DeathStroke007:
and bible isn't forgery?
Nope the bible is not a forgery.

But even if I were to assume the bible was a forgery it's still more reliable than the gospel of Barnabas in terms of history.

Historical scholars go to the New Testament to find out who Jesus was, no one go's to the gospel of Barnabas.

DeathStroke007:

People have already shown you the evidence but you just ignore it.
