So, APC was the party that advised him to stick with Aba Moro till the very last end of his tenure?
APC was the reason he said we were exaggerating corruption?
APC was the reason he said that stealing is not corruption?
Sanusi said 20 billion dollars was missing from NNPC accounts, Okonjo said (after accounts reconciliation) that it was 12 billion dollars but GEJ say that if any money was missing at all, America will know (sic). Moronic statement I would call it, if you ask me. That's also APC.
May be you should go back to your sleep.
Maybe u should stick those hands u use to service your political lords up your ass and try to use a bit of your brain before typing.. APC and PDP are our problems and the likes of you are the reason we don't have a solution to our problems.. ass licker

Altering the manifesto of apc regarding its campaign promises will be a suicide mission. This will further affirm the deception it employed during electoral campaigns in its desperation to grab power. Today, it's an open secret that apc lied to Nigerians and will face the music at an appropriate time.

It is even an insult to the youths including me who voted for Buhari to think that we voted for him just because he promised us meager monthly stipend of N5000. For how long will he even be able to pay that, 1 year or 4 years?
The truth is that 99% of people crying because of this peanut are wailers.
Your post reeks of contradiction or maybe u don't understand who are designated wailers on nairaland.
People who didn't vote for pmb (I for one) saw thru his scam. I had both disbelieved and reasoned the impossibility of that program. And am not surprised at its failure in limine.

Dele Momodu like baranista is suffering from the effect of denial of being appointed as a minister. No wonder Davido humiliated him.

Logically, no sane man should expect APC To change the Nation overnight, with their daring manifestos.. They have good wishes, but politicking won't allow most of these wishes to come to past..They just offered us a liberation form PDP's power drunk leadership.. The best thing APC could offer us, is Buhari's Presidency.. He seems to have 'what most 9ja Politicians lack' - INTEGRITY.. Let's hope this will count in the long run!
Integrity? Really,
A man who banned foreign medical trip from fx, yet he visits London and France for it.
How does he source forex for his children's school fees abroad, wouldn't a man of integrity recall them back to feel what we are feeling?
Integrity when he keeps denying all that brought him to power.
Integrity when he can't take a known side on the issue of shite Muslims and the fulani herdsmen.
Integrity when he supervised and signed a budget fraught with bogus claims and quotations.
If you haven't seen that he is not a man of integrity, then I will say u are just assuming ignorance or displaying the African type of faith.

Also....the cold reality is that we may have to go austerity mode. Our economy is dependent on oil and getting it off oil to the industrial one Mr Momodu suggests is going to take ages. In my opinion, PMB should fire excess civil servants, raise school fees, hospital fees, and end the fuel subsidy....and use the money saved to invest in vital sectors like rail and power....which would get us off oil. Yes....it is HARSH.......but oil is below $40. We need it to be at $123 just to balance the books. Sorry.....but subsides and other excesses have to go.
I saw ur post down on a quoted post and I had to locate ur original comment.
Do u know how much government is stealing from nigerians already on the banking sector alone, in charges and stamp duty? And you are advocating raised school and hospital fees?
Not to talk of The increase in prices and the high cost of living. We should use what we have in agriculture, tourism, mining, etc to wean ourselves off oil, not our hard earned money.

Eventually we have to get off the ''let us sell cash crops, minerals and tourism''model....and go into ''manufacturing, manufacturing''model.....because agriculture for example is just like oil.....we do not control the price, and the price of agric products can fluctuate even worse than oil .(Many African countries that rely on Agriculture....also rely heavily on loans and grants from the World Bank and company).

As for govt stealing.....the fact is that Nigeria,as I said earlier needs oil to be above $100 to keep the books balanced.Right now oil is at $33 and falling. And it will continue to fall because everyone and his mother is discovering oil...and because the US is now self sufficient in oil, and China's economy is slowing. (Our biggest customer now is India....a fellow developing nation). In oil dependent countries....when the price of oil falls....revenue falls....and you are left with two choices

1.Take a big fat loan from the IMF to keep doing what we have always been doing....and leave a huge debt that will come back to haunt us like Caesar's ghost.

2.Raise taxes....so that you do not have to take a loan.

And it isn't just Nigeria. Saudi Arabia is also cutting subsidies, raising VAT and also planning to raise taxes. And Saudi has $600bn in its Excess CrudeAccount. Venezuela just raised fuel prices.

The govt is not stealing now....it is raising the taxes to keep the books balanced. And with $28bn in our ECA and counting (see how low that is compared to Saudi's $600bn)....we have no choice. Unless you want us to go back in bondage to IMF and the World Bank. (Christine doesn't want us back as her houseboy again).

In short.....when oil was above $100 per barrel....we did not need to raise taxes. Now it is below $40. Where are we going to get the extra $60 per barrel? That's the problem.

Did Dele Momodu write that piece I just read? I won't be surprised if he now has shadow writers as my assessment of him before I withdrew suggests that he is far from the intellectual depth to master the details written in that piece. He disappointed me so much I concluded his place in Nigeria is the entertainment and praise-singing industry and not on serious policy issues and I forever stand by that assessment as people don't just change overnight

Whatever shortfall in the budget shouldn't be borne by the citizens who already are burdened. If you know how tax policy works in the UK, you can pay tax without grudges cos u feel the benefit. Not so here.
And about diversification, we have all it takes to be self sufficient in all the areas I mentioned. We can do without oil.

"As advanced as Britain is, the Governor of the Bank of England was recruited from Canada. No one raised eyebrows because the most important thing was getting the job done"

This cannot happen in Nigeria of today. If either of CBN Governor or Minister of Finance is sacked and replaced by competent people from another Geo-political zone for example, I trust Nigerians will start singing tribal songs.

Until we see liberating Nigeria as a general course, we are tied moving around a fixed radius.
Hmmm it showed that you read the post. Yes I agree with you completely. that was part of my response to the article in the papers

My message to IPOB, you will soon see what the North can be in a few years and they wont use oil money.
IPOB doesn't care what happens in the North, five or ten years from now. IPOB wants an outright annulment of the forced union. Let everybody go their separate ways and chart their individual destinies by themselves. That is the only way forward. The forced marriage has never worked and will never work.
