Fellow Corp members and ex Corpers pls what do you think of the NYSC loan that is been given to corp members passing out using your NYSC discharge certificate as a collateral and for those who took part, how was it. please it's urgent. I need your suggestions.

Yes, i think there is a loan facilities for corps members who had finish service year and decide to opt for the facility. But of course you know Nigeria unnecessary bottle-neck wont allow easy access to such,except you know somebody at the top. I should get you more details;may be tomorrow.

Wrong! Any corp member can assess the loan as long as u av a genuine business proposal and u participated in SAED. U dont need to know anyone at the top

so wots d procedures or beta still d step by step guide to access such loans

Truth is I dont know coz I am not interested in the loan and so didnt participate in any of the SAED programmes, but I have former corp members as friends who got the loan. All I know is that, when they are ready to give forms for loans, they announce it through your LG, u can as well talk to ur LGI about ur interest in it so he can tell u wen to expect the forms or give u info abt it. Just get ur business proposal ready.

It is very easy to borrow, but very hard to repay...

What if inflation kicks in and cost of things u need rise above wat u budget wen u submit d proposal? Wat if some other variables did not work out as planned?

Hustle for your money and save... Put d savings out of ur reach until u are ready.

You will have peace of mind .... But if u take loan, as repayment time approach, you will not be able to sleep.

@op what's the duration before repayment and interest rate on the loan (if any)?

Ok, it depends on the loan duration u applied for, some are 2 years, some 5 years but I dunno d mode of repayment tho
