First of all, the topic is misleading. The Company is not owing any staff salary. The union is protesting based on betrayal of the management towards the union and staff. The management agreed with the union that no staff was going to be sacked but the management suddenly distributed sack letter to about 300 staff. Secondly I'm more surprised by those saying it's Buhari 's fault. How? Na Buhari sell the Company to Jonathan and his friends? Na wa o. |

Progress2468:You are very wrong. Power generation is not in federal government's hand. Ahnn ahnn!!! Habba! Are Nigerians so blind and so deaf to know what's going on in their own country? Sahara energy(I think owned by OBJ) bought egbin power generation station while Babangida's company bought kainji dam just as Jonathan and Abdulsalami Abubakar have their own. They shared the company among themselves while it is only transmission which is indivisible that is still owned by government. If generation no generate, wetin transmission wan transmit. Many haters of Buhari only come to nairaland just to spew rubbish whereas their hero Jonathon has destroyed Nigeria to a very pathetic extent. PDP ruined Nigeria for 16 years and Buhari is just 10 months at the elms of affair and people are talking as if Buhari has ruled Nigeria for ever. So many myopic idiots on nairaland. |

Gboliwe:The present administration has not even influenced any decision here. Jonathan through NERC is the one who has killed the industry. |

They demand for their interest, yea... that's right but Have they delivered the services they are being paid for. Customers are being shortchanged and yet dey are expected to pay much for inflated estimated bills while they (staff) sit at the office waiting for the month to run so as to commence disconnection. |
