...i really don't blame Shalini here, Mr Girish is the mastermind of the rubbish going on. Manav is a bigger dundee for accepting his proposal while still married to Achu. Mr Girish had always wanted Manav for his daughter and this is the only way that can happen..so he's playing his cards well. He's the Gulabi in Sacred Ties all others(Savita, Shalini, Manav) are just pawns
