I have not seen Nigerian beans without weevils no matter how few; seen some imported baked beans with weevils.

Probably right. Foods exported to Europe have to be drenched in fertilizer and pesticide to be accepted under WTO conventions.

That is what happens when standard procedures aren't followed... But on a second thought, I prefer buying beans with weevils than without it.. Because the later might contain harmful chemicals that could even pose health threats to the humans that consume them.

That's just the beginning, a lot of flaws will still be exposed on our exports...

Even local beans after you've picked the dirts off for like 2times, you will be amazed @d amount of stones that will be discovered while eating after u have finished cooking.

All still boils down to personal hygiene, hard-work and discipline, by God's grace with time we will get there.
