Iam not myopic or short sighted to decipher all the activities of these cattle rearers and herdsmen maiming innocent lives of parents,children and Farmers.

The question should be ''how did they gain ground in the southern states eg-Lagos ,ibadan,ogun,etc.
Lagos seems to be the worst hit because the Yoruba has not yet understood the game plan of these fulani/hausa men.Theireyes is still blinded with Trade and hospitality to an extent now as those rich yoruba keep employing these hausa's as Night watchmen,gateman,guards,hunters,cattle rearer's,you think they donot know all about your family,property and lives?
We fell cheap to this trap when we also had an oil boom and industrialisation, we left agriculture and trading opened a door for the activities of Bokoharam to infiltrate the south and western states of Nigeria.

Call it whatever you want, a friend is easy to become an enemy without you knowing.Betrayal is the easiest,yet worst form of occupational hazards in humanity's co-existence.
In simple terms, the rich yourba and ibo's employed their enemies to guard their properties,lives and families most especially in most of these big estates.
We were blinded also by steaked meat aka suya and it amazes me how rich people patronize these things in places like VGC,Lekki;Magodo,Ikeja.
Bokoharam had easy access to the south when we put them in charge of our security,our commerccial activities,domestic activities.

Now,lagos would learn the hard way and things as fulani/hausa herdsman keeps killing people / destroying farmers.

In order to beat an enemy,learn what he knows,understand his ways.we too should start doing our own suya, we should start employing our own people as gatemen/nightwathches.
Yoruba's and ibos are tooo much on education and business while the hausa's are soo much ahead in politics because the british gave them the power.
The yes!!! Yes!!!! Man won't find it hard to say yes to robber's and thieves who come to rob us becaause they always say yes!!!

From now on,the various state governments must set up a place monitored where these people can ranch their animals!!!
Enough is enough of these rampant killings with boldness.
Things have to change now in this country.
Rise up and let us say no to violence.remove all enemies from being in charge of our greatest assests.
