Thank You Ambode! This is what i have been clamoring for,LASBCA was part and parcel of that collapse. The sacked officers should also be embarrassed with handcuffs and detained if found wanting. The other day when Synagogue building collapsed and killed hundreds of precious lives our amiable president Goodluck Jonathan came for handshake with T.B Joshua.

I saw fashola hugging tb joshua a day after d incident happened.

Very impressive action from my governor, Ambode, looking forward to more that and even stiffer penalties.

I give my able governor one hundred percent on dis.Dis govt officials keep on collecting bribe to all dis devilish builders to build on roads,gutter,canal, under the high tension and so many other wrong places. God don catch them.

STUDENT LEADER LAUDS AMBODE FOR ORGANISATIONAL SHAKEUP IN LASBCA

The sack of the Manager of Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) by Governor Ambode is a welcome initiative.

Why you ask me? He is an engineer! Yuck! Why will an engineer head a building agency when we have lots of builders (professional and registered). Various acts of Parliament have clear positions on the functions of builders and that of engineers. Builders are empowered by Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria Act of 1989.

I on behalf of lots of Building students across Nigeria pass a vote of confidence on the Governor. We hereby use this medium to urge him to appoint a builder to head this agency.

In Unilag, we have Prof. Martins Dada, we have Associate Prof. Olumide Adenuga, we have Bldr. Oluwaseun Dosumu, we have Bldr. Fidelis Achi, Bldr Aliu Soyingbe amongst others who are men of proven character who will discharge duties of the regulatory agency without fear or favour.
