The SS3 student from Kebbi state who became famous after photos of his local car made from scrap materials went viral online. Muzzamil Umar and hundreds of youth are now set to receive technical training under 'The Muzzamil Project'...This was announced by Deputy Governor Samaila Yombe at his office on Wednesday after he met with Muzzamil.

Instead of making these junks that can barely withstand any pressure and the test of time, why not dedicate your time to a simple task like KEKE (TRICYCLE)?

Why Nigeria, after many years, still import Keke and Okada from India and China is really beyond me. A single Keke cost about N350,000.
Now imagine the number of Keke in Lagos state only and tell me what benefit these made in Nigeria cars photoshoots would add to the economy.

These folks should approach the BOI, apply for loan and make something tangible business-wise.

Making scraps and junks all over the country, whilst expecting the next politician to host them and take some photoshoot will neither help the Naira nor create jobs.

I am tired of seeing our brothers taking photos with scraps. You folks should get sense and act like a CHINESE or an IGBO man. Photoshoots with scraps may get you an award or a civil service job with a state govt but it won't add a single value to any live.

We have been making junks since 1960, yet we are still helpless and clueless as to how best these junks could translate to profit.

We celebrate these pictures on Nairaland and Twitter, and then go out there to board a made in India Keke Marwa. Same old cycle since 1960.

Think about how you could make a cheaper, economical and better Keke than those shipped in from India. Take your business plan and technical details to an investor and get yourself a life time reward.
