Which city in the world does not have a ghetto? They all do, only some have lesser ghettos. In any city where there's serious wealth, there's going to be a ghetto or two for some known reasons.

There is nothing there to be proud of. Most persons live like rat in Lagos.

The standard of living is low, with very little or no basic infrastructures and amenities.

MEGA in the sense of population, and nothing more.

Mega only in population and size alone.
Otherwise na ZERO on the very BASIC things for MODERN cities, which is different from size.
Basic things like:

- tap water in ALL buildings.
- public transport system that is efficient for reducing traffic jams
- school enrolment for ALL children.

On all these scores 17 years of the progreTHIEF administration of Tinubu/Fashola/Ambode has made negligible impact compared to the revenues and budgets at their disposal.
Any REASONABLE Lagosian should not see this mega city news as a source of joy but rather a call to task our leaders to get working to make the mega city a MODERN city.
