I posit that Nigeria's greatest problems are the Tropical climate, religious delusion and cultural diversity. I believe all others can be subsumed under these three fundamental a priori reasons. For instance, corruption thrives unrestrainedly as a result of one or all of the aforementioned.

Now, I'd love to cut to the chase.

1. CLIMATIC FACTOR
First and foremost, is the climatic factor.
Albeit, this might be considered inconsequential, I cognise it to be an implicit factor that is noteworthy. As a country in the tropics, we all know how hot the climate is, which leaves everyone physiologically and psychologically discomforted. Oftentimes, it triggers social passivity, consequent upon which the people are pragmatically and innovatively incapacitated. It makes one easily knackered and torpid. Put succinctly, you can't think properly and creatively in a hot weather and people tend to be more aggressive on hotter days.

2.RELIGIOUS FACTOR

This can never be overemphasised. Religious delusion leaves the populace, credulous and easily manipulated. It inhibits her people's cop on and they begin to dwell in an illusory world waiting endlessly and dormantly for situations to shape up automatically. It's also the reason a lynch-mob would treat looters with utmost veneration but would readily string up their comrades who have committed much lesser offence(what I regard as misplaced-mobbing). It's a tool used by political robbers and religious kleptomaniac parading themselves as the invincible, sacrosanct, infallible and holy ones.

3. CULTURAL DIVERSITY/ETHNICITY.

Lastly is the cultural diversity.
Cultural diversity could be a blessing to United States of America but it's definitely an entirely different scenario in Naija. It's the reason why we hardly reach consensus and we'll be forever divided. We're only politically integrated but culturally disintegrated. A disintegrated entity cannot develop. Transmission of innovation becomes a herculean and insuperable task.
Remember, United we stand, divided we fall?
The astounding question is, "can we ever be United without some parts seceding?"
The truth is, we are divided along socio-cultural boundaries and till we relinquish our differences and embrace our commonships, WE WILL NEVER STAND.

Just one of my assertions. Prayers don't solve problems, people with ideas and rationality, do. The earlier we get and admit this, the better. Or haven't you asked yourself why most developed Nations are filled with atheists? Religious dogmatism dwindles wit.

Thank you Liberty. We really need to manumit our over-pious minds. Religion has done so much harm to the people's intellect. They always expect miracles where and when they have sown nowhere and at no time. So pathetic!
