i was just trying to think out a way and some ideas are poping in.

1) i got an exchanger who has a paypal account and a relation outside, who helps him withdraw and send dollars through western union. 280/$.

got some other real ideas but first, lets make it a collective effort to get the maximium black market rate. crack your heads and lets pull this one out.

That your guy lied to you big time

1. Gone are the days when you receive money through Western Union in foreign currency. The last time I received in foreign currency is around 2011, 2012.

Now any bank in Nigeria you go to, to receive Western Union will only give you the Naira equivalent at CBN official rate ₦199 to 1$ you can go to your bank and ask or you can confirm it at exchangers thread here on Nairaland.

Even with US Payoneer card if you try to withdraw here on Nigeria ATM, you will get @ CBN official rate ₦199 to $1 plus charges lol.

Also be advised that greedines will only land you into the hands of scammers... Scammers are everywhere now on NL reading your post on how you want to exchange PayPal dollars at parallel market rate. By the time they will take you up to exchange for you at parallel market rate and you transfer your hard earned money to them and they fly away with it. Don't come and post the story that touches here on Nairaland
