Actually I'm not speaking in the context of money or fame, I'm tryna state the irrelevance of his degree in the Nigerian ignorance infested society. I for one detest Nigeria songs, I have about 500 songs on my laptop and I can tell you this, you won't find ONE Nigeria song out of my over 500 songs.

I respect your art sir, you're amongst the few Nigerians that actually pass something reasonable in their songs

there are still millions of nigerians who still appreciate good old masterpiece of creative song writers like Timi,Dare alade, Bez, Tuface,Cobbams, and the likes.. and with time they will become more popular as the so called "jollof" music has not "staying power"

Meanwhile, Kudos to Timi, one of the very Few Nija act to make my playlist including Asa, Cohbams, Darey, and some gospel folks like Nathaniel Bassey.
He now is a music consultant with this not just a music writer.

Trying to say his degree is irrelevant in Nigeria is wrong. I for one enjoy his songs and want to see him improve. If his degree will aid his musical growth, why not? Then he still has his fan base which will keep him active. And not forgetting that there is still an international market outside Nigeria. Asa is doing a great job and he can even do better.
