Channel the sound from your tv to the home theatre that work for me.

Connect ur audio cables from the home theater aux port to the TV,put the home theater on aux mode,there should be a setting in the TV that allows TV sounds to sound through d home theatre.this means every device u connect 2 TV will play its sounds through the home theater

For gaming it's better u connect with your hdm1 cable, then select a 'aux' on your home theater system. Regarding ur cable not coming up, check d ports and make sure that it is well connected.

@swag..d home theatre have no port for hdmi
